Begin by giving yourself permission to get as comfortable as your body-mind desires.

That might mean readjusting yourself in your seat,

Leaning back,

Lying back,

Or laying down.

Then beginning to notice your breath.

Your breath is here in service of the life you came to live.

It's in service of you.

Allowing your breath to breathe you.

Not having to lengthen it or shorten it.

Simply allowing the breath.

Then beginning to bring your awareness down into your heart space.

Perhaps placing one or two hands on your physical heart.

Noticing the heartbeat if you're able to.

Its cadence,

Its lightness or its intensity.

The temperature around your heart,

Your skin,

Your clothing.

Perhaps the flow of life force.

A sense of energy and movement.

Both in the front of the heart through the back of the heart.

Knowing that there's not a right or a wrong way to be in contact with your heart.

You're setting the intention to be more connected to it.

And then bringing your awareness down into your pelvic bowl.

Making contact with whatever surface you might be on.

Feeling your sitz bones.

Allowing yourself to be held by the seat or surface that you're on as well as your pelvis.

When we can notice our breath,

Our heart space,

Our heartbeat and our sitz bones,

We are entering into a deeper connection with our own present moment awareness.

And then in the next inhalation,

With the speed of the imagination,

Making contact with Mother Earth.

Knowing that she can infinitely give to us,

That she has limitless resources to support our aliveness and the life that we came to live.

And shifting your awareness from doing to allowing.

Inviting in support from Mother Earth.

Inviting in the support of her own authenticity.

That is tailor made just for us.

The reflection from Mother Earth's vastness.

That she can co-create limitless life forms,

Support those life forms.

Allow them to evolve in the most beautiful and magnificent ways.

From the plant kingdom to the animal kingdom.

To humanity.

Beginning to breathe in the support that Mother Earth wants to activate and resource your own authentic way of living and being.

Breathing in the sense of sacred authenticity.

Allowing the breath to lead that energy into the bottoms of your physical feet.

Through your calves,

Through your knees,

Through your quads,

Your hamstrings,

Through your pelvic bones,

Through your gut,

Through the front and back of your solar plexus.

Through the front and back of your heart space and your lungs.

Through your shoulders,

Down through your arms and fingertips,

Through the front and back of your throat,

Through your sinuses,

And up through the crown of your head.

Just inviting in that support.

Inviting in the felt sense awareness of life that intelligently recognizes that you have your own authentic way of being,

Living,

Knowing,

Expressing,

Loving,

Connecting.

Being curious,

Creating,

Discerning that this authentic life force that lives in you wants to be fully expressed.

And then on the next inhalation,

Inviting that flow of authentic life force and support to double.

Going to places known and unknown in the body,

Mind,

Conscious and unconscious.

And giving permission for those places to be resourced.

Not forcing it,

Not willing it,

Not pushing it.

Noticing your ability to allow.

And then allowing your awareness to come down through the lift or elevator from the middle of your brain down into your physical heart.

You can take your time with this,

Just as you would take an actual elevator lift in a building.

Inviting your awareness,

Your you-ness,

To come down into your physical heart.

And when you get there,

I invite you to name aloud what you're noticing.

Noticing the physical sensations.

If there's a temperature,

If there's a color,

If there's a rhythm,

If there's constriction or if there's flow.

And if you're able to choose to get out of that elevator lift,

Give yourself permission to walk around in that space.

You're not required to see anything.

You might feel it.

There's not a right way of noticing.

There's simply your way.

And as you begin to walk around,

Name what you're noticing.

You might be feeling it.

Notice what you're feeling.

You might be seeing it.

And we're going to begin a conversation with your heart.

Just like you would with a long lost friend or someone that you've not had contact with with some time.

It's a conversation that we have allowed.

Speaking aloud to her body,

Just as we would to a friend.

You can begin by repeating after me.

And if the phrase that I'm naming doesn't work for you,

Simply find a statement that resonates.

Having your hand on your heart or two hands with your awareness in your heart space,

Acknowledging to your heart,

I'm here now.

Repeating to your heart out loud.

I'm here now.

And then noticing what happens for you and your heart.

Does your heart respond with physical sensation?

Is it more intense or less intense?

Perhaps emotions begin to bubble up.

There's no right or wrong response.

Perhaps there's no change.

And noticing if we've been disconnected from our physical and emotional heart.

Just like not having contact with a long lost friend for a while,

It might take time.

So this is a daily practice to reconnect with your heart.

And saying to your heart,

If it feels true,

I'm sorry that I've been disconnected from you.

Remembering only to say things that are truly authentic.

If it feels true,

You can say to your heart,

I'm sorry I've been disconnected from you.

And then noticing what happens for you and your heart when you acknowledge this aloud to your heart.

And breathing through those sensations,

Riding the waves of sensation or emotion.

Noticing that the heart oftentimes speaks to us with the language of sensation.

That's how it communicates with us.

It might be in the front of the heart or the back of the heart.

It might be with temperature.

There's no right or wrong way.

And then taking another breath and acknowledging to your heart.

I would like to reconnect with you.

Acknowledging aloud,

I would like to reconnect with you.

And noticing what happens for you and what happens for your heart.

With sensation,

With movement or energy,

With emotion.

And then acknowledging to your heart,

I would like your support and living the life I came to live.

Saying this if it feels resonant out loud to your heart,

I would like your support with living the life I came to live.

And noticing how the heart responds.

Your breath might deepen.

There might be more of an expansion.

All responses are welcome.

And then acknowledging to your heart.

I'm ready to live the life I came to live.

Acknowledging aloud to your heart.

I'm ready to live the life I came to live.

This is my life.

I'm in charge.

This is my life.

I'm in charge.

And notice how this lands for you and how it lands for your heart.

And if your brain begins to fight back,

Second guess or have some mind chatter,

You can set some boundaries with your brain or your ego.

You can say,

This is none of your business.

This is none of your business.

And notice what happens in your heart when you set that brown boundary with your ego.

This is your life that you came to live.

That the ego is not as vast as you.

The ego is in service of you,

But it's not the CEO.

Coming back into your heart space.

And acknowledging anything that's bubbled up.

Any vulnerability.

Any resistance.

Any wobble.

And reaffirm with the heart,

I need your help with this.

I want this.

I want this life I came to live.

Breathing it through,

Allowing this reconnection.

To begin to land and integrate into your nervous system,

Into your physical body,

Into your energetic body.

And knowing that this is just the beginning.

That your heart is your biggest resource for your aliveness,

For your authenticity.

That your heart is in service of you.

It's your ally.

It's here to help you ride the waves of emotions as well as allowing you to be more vulnerable in aligned ways.

It will allow you to say yes to what's truly life-giving for you.

And encourage you to say no to things that come from obligation or should or misalignment.

The heart is your North Star for allowing you to live the life you came to live.

It's your life.

And your heart is in service of you.

In service of your essence.

Of your limitless aliveness.

Of your creativity.

Of your curiosity.

Of your wisdom.

Of your playfulness.

Your generosity.

Your erotic self.

Your resting self.

Your agency.

Your bravery.

Your purpose.

Acknowledging to your heart that you want to grow this relationship with it over time.

That you want to reconnect and grow this relationship in a brand new way.

When the wobble comes or resistance comes,

Remembering that you can drop into your heart,

Placing your hand there,

When you're resourced.

And acknowledging,

I want this life,

The way that I came to live,

And setting boundaries with the ego.

That the ego is no longer in charge.

That it's your life,

Not the ego's life.

Beginning to bring your awareness back into the space that you're in.

Knowing that you can always call on deepening and enriching this relationship with your heart at any time.

This is a life-giving practice that is here to support you in infinite ways.

That your heart always wants to evolve and transform with you.

And then taking a few deep sighs and wiggling your fingers and toes.

Maybe yawning,

Rolling your shoulders.

Letting yourself move back into this space,

Back into your body.

Taking this renewed connection with you,

Out into your day,

Out into your life.

And if you feel called to journal,

To integrate these learnings,

This connection,

Please do so.

If you feel called to move,

Perhaps pick a song that you can dance to and shuffle.

Allow those learnings to integrate through physical movement.

Or go for a walk or a hike.

Or simply drink a nice glass of water to be fully present to all that you've reconnected with.
