
Closure & Completion Meditation

This guided somatic practice invites grounded integration around dynamics, cycles, patterns, or relationships that you are completing, or would like to have closure. This process allows you to somatically release what you have been holding to create space for a deeper awareness of lessons learned, who you are on the other side of this ending, and how you can move forward.
Transcript
Welcome to the closure and completion meditation.
This is Amy Babish.
I invite you to settle in and allow your body to be as comfortable as it desires.
You're welcome to lean back,
Lay back,
Or lie down.
And also give yourself permission to adjust as needed,
As desired,
Throughout our time together.
Begin by noticing your breath.
The breath that breathes you.
Each time you breathe,
We are being given the gift of life itself.
With nothing to know,
Nothing to do,
Nothing to have,
And nothing to be.
Allowing this breath to breathe you,
Not having to lengthen it or shorten it,
Simply allowing the breath to serve you.
Noticing the temperature of the breath as you inhale and exhale with curiosity rather than judgment.
Noticing the physical sensation or quality of your breath,
Its cadence,
Its lightness or intensity.
And just allowing your breath to wash through you.
On the next inhalation,
Inviting your awareness into your heart space.
If it helps to imagine an elevator or a lift in the middle of your brain,
Allowing you to step inside of that elevator and taking that elevator into your physical heart space.
And it might help to place one or two hands on your physical heart.
And some of you might see things,
But it's not required.
Allow yourself to tune into the sensations.
The sensations might be subtle.
There might be a general sense of awareness.
The sensations might be palpable,
Like the heartbeat.
Noticing the cadence of your heartbeat.
Noticing the temperature of your skin around your heart.
And then also noticing what's happening in the back of the heart.
That's the space between our wings,
Between our shoulder blades.
Taking your time to notice what's also happening in the back of the heart space.
All the way from the front of the heart through the middle to the back of the heart.
And sometimes we can have completely different experiences in the front of a heart space as compared to the back of the heart space.
Noticing with compassion and curiosity,
Without judgment,
What is present in the fullness of your heart right now.
And then on the next inhalation,
Bringing your awareness into your sitz bones.
The bones that are connected to your pelvis,
Your pelvic bowl,
That hold all of you.
Noticing their contact with whatever surface you're on.
Bringing your awareness into your pelvic bowl,
Your pelvis.
This strongest bone in our body that holds all of us.
And then on the next inhalation,
With the speed of the imagination,
Allowing your energetic feet to grow deep into the core of Mother Earth.
Allowing yourself to make contact with whatever you're desiring around your closure and completion process.
Mother Earth is limitless with her resources in support of not just plants and animals and the environment,
But also of our whole cyclical experience.
As you feel into what you are desiring,
Some of you might resonate with the support of Mother Earth.
Others may desire compassion.
Or perhaps integration.
You are able to choose whichever support you desire in this moment.
And in this meditation process,
You can modify whatever word of support that you would like to receive as we go deeper into the process.
We're going to work with the support of integration.
On the next inhalation,
Shifting your awareness from doing to allowing.
And noticing the only requirement is your willingness and your permission.
When you're ready,
Giving permission to Mother Earth to give you the support of integration.
And the next inhalation,
Beginning to breathe in her infinite support of integration,
Breathing it through the physical body,
Allowing it to tend to the places where there might be physical tension or discomfort.
As we step into completion and closure,
Sometimes the body holds the experience on a deeper level for us.
Inviting in that support from Mother Earth,
From Pachamama,
The integration into those places in the physical body that would like more support.
And allowing this integration support to be as gentle as a babbling brook,
As a gentle stream.
Allowing it to gently wash through the body.
Not having to force it or will it.
And noticing that there's nothing to do.
Simply allowing.
And if it feels supportive,
You can move one or two hands to the places where you're desiring more physical support around integration.
And allowing this process to take as long as it takes.
Noticing that there might be layers and that this is a deeper,
More complex and subtle process than the thinking mind might recognize.
That you're not doing anything wrong or bad or right or good.
You're simply allowing that you are worthy of receiving this support around integrating what the body has been holding on a deep cellular and perhaps even epigenetic level.
That whatever you're completing with or having closure around might be for you.
And it might also serve a far grander purpose for your lineage and for generations to come.
And as you breathe in the support of integration,
Notice what is shifting in your awareness.
Remember to send the breath,
Allow the breath with the support of the energetic of integration to deepen this experience for you.
On the next inhalation,
Inviting the flow of integration energy to double.
Allowing it to places known and unknown in the physical body,
In the thinking mind,
In the emotional body,
In the energetic body,
And in the psycho-spiritual body or with your essence,
The one who know this is.
Your wise woman.
Your wise self.
Noticing as you start to receive even deeper support throughout all of the layers of your beingness.
Notice whatever is bubbling up,
That there is enough space for you,
For it,
And for all parts of you to continue to receive as you notice.
And allowing yourself to call forward the experience or experiences or dynamic or relationship that you are completing with.
And allowing it to be held gently.
Whatever place feels safe for you,
That you're continuing to receive gentle support,
Integrating support,
And allowing that dynamic to be held.
It might be in a forest of ferns or trees.
It might be on a beach.
It might be in a bubble of gold.
It might be at a distance.
Giving yourself permission to have as many boundaries between you and what you're completing with to ensure that there is physical safety in the body.
As well as emotional,
Energetic,
And psycho-spiritual safety.
And allowing yourself to receive even more support,
Even more integration energy.
And as you notice the space between you and what you're completing with,
I invite you to notice what wants to be named out loud.
What are the lessons that you're taking with you as you complete this cycle,
This experience,
This dynamic,
This way of being or doing?
Noticing if you can name these pieces with curiosity and compassion without judgment.
If you're inviting in more compassion,
More support,
You can breathe that in from your contact with Mother Earth.
That this integration process can be as gentle as your body and mind desires.
That you can complete and have closure with a deeper understanding and awareness of who you really are.
Without having to analyze or make anyone bad or wrong.
And holding your boundaries.
That what always has been yours is yours now.
And on the next inhalation,
Giving permission on your inhalation to breathe in even more integration energy.
And as you exhale,
Releasing what no longer is yours,
What no longer serves you.
And allowing it to be sent down back through your energetic feet to be composted and alchemized through Mother Earth.
And trusting that the intentionality of your breath with your awareness is allowing things that might have been held within you,
Within yourselves,
Epigenetically.
Allowing it to filter down and through.
Allowing what's yours to stay.
And what's no longer yours to be recycled.
And allowing that process to continue.
And then in your own way,
Noticing if there's anything that you need to name or say aloud to say one last goodbye to this dynamic,
To this experience,
To this relationship,
To this cycle.
Allowing yourself to say goodbye and have completion with the utmost dignity and respect with all of you in the truest sense of your liberation and freedom.
And when you feel complete,
You can invite that image,
That bubble,
That context to start to shrink down.
So that almost is too small for your eye to see.
Noticing how big you are and how small that experience is now.
And breathing through the body and noticing as you have this perspective around this closure,
What is true for you now?
And bringing your awareness deeper into the space between your throat and your heart and perhaps placing one hand in that space.
This is the space where our true self lives.
And asking your true self,
What would you have me know about this closure and about this perspective?
What would you have me know about this completion and this perspective?
And then inviting your true self to give you a reflection.
It might be in words.
It might be in images and might be in sounds or sensations.
Help me to see myself in a new way and help me to see this dynamic.
And a grander purpose.
A far grander purpose for what it actually serves for my evolution and for the highest good of all.
And if there's space.
Asking.
What is my next step to move forward with this integrated completion enclosure?
What is my next step of integration around this completion enclosure?
As this cycle completes.
What am I inviting in?
What am I allowing?
What am I stepping towards?
And then taking a few deep breaths.
And deeper inhalations and sighing.
Allowing all of this wisdom,
All of this integration to wash through you like this gentle and broke.
Allowing it to deepen in.
That when the thinking mind questions your experience.
Your physical body.
Your bones,
Your blood,
Your organs,
Your energetic body.
And your psycho spiritual body,
Your essence,
Your true self,
The one who notices will hold the deep,
Rich,
Subtle and complex experience that you've tapped into.
And then placing one hand over your heart and one hand of your solar plexus and allowing in the gratitude for your commitment.
And when you're complete,
Beginning to wiggle your fingers and toes,
Wiggling,
Stretching,
Yawning.
Listening to how your body would like to move to bring you back to the present moment,
Blinking your eyes.
And if you have time,
Make sure that you drink some water,
Helping you to integrate this experience.
You might want to move,
Go for a walk or hike.
You might want to journal.
You might want to dance.
You might want to just sit and allow this experience to deepen and enrichen as you move through your day or into your dreaming life.
