Hello and welcome to your self-love guided meditation.
My name is Amy Dean with One Awakening.
Take a few moments to find a comfortable position.
You may choose to lay down or sit up.
And just begin by placing one hand over your heart.
Closing your eyes.
We normally don't allow the natural love for ourselves to be expressed.
So what we'll do in this meditation is allow you to tap into that.
So feel your hand,
Maybe even caressing your chest a little bit.
Just take in deep breath.
Hold for a moment at the very top.
And when ready,
Naturally exhale slowly and deeply.
Inhale fresh oxygen.
Hold it in.
And exhale without any effort.
Inhale feeling rejuvenated and invigorated by this breathing.
Hold it and exhale easily letting go.
And inhale noticing how your breath fully comes naturally for you.
Pausing to soak it in and exhale any tension or worry.
Inhale fully with the intention of self-love.
Pausing to feel this love in your heart.
And exhale into complete relaxation.
So let your breath flow at a pace without any effort from you.
And just by doing this,
You're proving that you're capable of self-love.
And deep breathing increases the oxygen to your brain.
Stimulating your calm parasympathetic nervous system.
It allows you to rest and relax.
And just being quiet with yourself is self-love in its very simple form.
Now notice how your thoughts are rising in your mind one after the other.
See them come and see them go.
Some thoughts linger for some time and some thoughts only come for a split second.
And if you really focus on your mind,
You'll notice even smaller thoughts such as thoughts that label the things around you.
Opening your hearing so that you can focus on any sounds that might be coming from first your right ear.
And then sounds coming from your left ear.
And you can even hear the sound of your breath as you deeply breathe in with loving kindness.
Not just going from sound to sound,
Focusing on one at a time,
Noticing wherever your awareness might take you.
Now we will use the imagination powers within to imagine the abundance of self-love that's already here.
See yourself now with a smile on your face out in nature somewhere beautiful.
Maybe by the ocean or in a forest,
By a lake,
Or somewhere that you've been before that you love and feel connected to.
And just seeing that you happy,
Fulfilled,
Calm and relaxed.
And knowing that this you is the deeper you,
The you that holds all of the love and compassion,
The joy and the clarity around who you really are.
And just spending some time noticing that this has been you all along.
And all the other thoughts and emotions are just like wispy clouds floating by in your awareness,
But none of them are bigger or more expansive than who you really are.
And so now a few affirmative statements to repeat to yourself.
When I fully love myself,
I am able to fully love others.
Each day I allow my love for myself to grow more and more.
I am worthy of love,
And I honor and accept the joy that comes with it.
I deserve love and self respect.
I choose to love and accept everything about myself.
Today,
I choose to love myself more than yesterday.
Truly loving myself comes easy for me.
The more I love myself,
The better my health is.
I have unconditional love within myself that flows to others around me.
And now just allowing these words to touch your heart,
To warm and nurture all aspects of your being.
And just remembering that self love is a choice every day.
And when you open your eyes,
Choosing to be kind and gentle with whatever might arise within.
