I'll invite you to find a comfortable position to start with,
Perhaps seated on the floor or on a comfortable chair.
Or if you'd rather,
Lay down.
Take these first few moments to simply settle in.
Allow your eyelids to close.
Let your shoulders fall down away from your ears.
Simply bring your attention to your own breath.
Let it come organically without effort.
Simply notice how it feels today.
Notice sensations as the air enters your nostrils and travels down through your throat,
To your chest and perhaps down to your belly.
Notice the pace and quality of your own breath without wanting to change it.
I invite you to rely on your breath throughout this meditation.
It will help to support you.
It will help you stay connected with the present,
With this moment.
Every time you breathe in,
Breathe in love.
As you exhale,
Push out the negativity that you may be feeling today.
With each breath,
Breathe in respect for yourself.
With each exhalation,
Release yourself from the negative thoughts and the judgement that you have towards yourself.
Your breath is a healing tool.
It helps you to deepen your relationship with yourself,
With your divine self.
Use your breath to release what is no longer serving you and welcome the joy.
Maybe as you sit here in this meditation today,
You start to smile in the inside.
Maybe you even start to notice the outer corner of your lips lift.
As you welcome joy into your life today,
You feel it through your blood,
Through your muscles,
You even feel it through your soul.
This little moment is to remind you that you are ok.
You always have this space within yourself to come home to.
Just be here with your breath.
That's enough.
This is a beautiful opportunity for you to hang out with yourself,
To be in this moment with the most important person in your life,
You.
Take a few more breaths,
Welcoming what you need and want in your life and letting go of the hurdles,
Of the stories you are telling yourself.
I want to remind you today that you are worthy.
You deserve to be happy.
You deserve to feel joy.
So decide right now how you want to navigate through the rest of your day.
