Hello to you and welcome to this meditation.
Let's start by setting up in a comfortable position.
You can decide to sit or to lay,
Whatever suits you at this moment.
Take a few breaths as you settle in.
Take these first few moments to really get here.
Allow your eyelids to close and let your body feel more relaxed with each breath.
Let your breath untie all the little knots in your body and in your mind.
Notice how your breath feels today,
Not judgments,
Just noticing how it's showing up for you now.
For the next few moments,
I'll give you permission to stop doing and simply being.
Be with your breath.
Be in this moment.
Right here you have everything you need.
I truly love spending time in nature.
In the forest,
Especially,
Is a place where I just feel like I can be myself.
This meditation,
I'll invite you to do the same.
To simply be content with the thoughts as they come.
Even if it's taking you elsewhere for a moment,
It's okay.
You have the power of returning in this moment anytime.
When I spend time in nature,
I have this deep sense that I'm okay.
Maybe with your imagination,
You want to travel to the woods with me.
Maybe it's a trail that you are familiar with or a spot that you just enjoy spending time.
The forest is a very calming place.
A place to simply be,
To move at our own pace with no expectations.
Right now in this meditation,
There is absolutely no expectations.
It's simply about being here.
About enjoying this moment with yourself without judgment.
It's about breathing and connecting to yourself and the earth.
It's about nurturing and cultivating this deep sense of belonging.
The trees that are found in the forest have deep roots,
Have history,
As do you.
You belong right here.
You belong in this life.
Take a moment to notice how peaceful you are right now.
Just being with your breath in this moment,
You are able to feel this inner peace.
Take this moment to accept the person that you are today because you are everything you are meant to be.
Like the trees that you might be seeing in your imagination,
You are strong,
You are fierce.
Likely your life hasn't been the easiest over the last few months or even maybe longer,
But you are still here.
You are still growing.
You are still evolving.
You are still connecting.
Let's take this moment to celebrate you as a human being.
Feel this pride inside of yourself for who you are today.
Not perfect,
But perfectly imperfect.
The trees in the forest don't all grow straight up.
Some of them have little kinks and little twists,
But they are still amazing.
They are still beautiful.
At this time I will invite you to start to deepen your breath.
Allow your chest and belly to expand with each inhalation.
Let this air flow through you.
Let it energize you.
Let it bring some aliveness within yourself.
Bring a soft smile to your face.
Feel this strength that's right there in you as you get ready to navigate your day.
When you're ready,
Open your eyes.
Wiggle your extremities.
Get ready to rock your day.
