The Anāhata Chakra is one of the most beautiful and richest Chakras, and invites us to dwell longer in its inexhaustible treasures of delightful feelings and experiences. It is located in the region of the heart, in the centre of the chest, and this is why it is also known as the Heart Centre. And it is not without reason that the heart is regarded as the symbol of love, for the Anāhata Chakra is the seat of love. Anāhata Nāda = unlimited, infinite sound

Hello,

My name is Emilia and this is the Heart Chakra Meditation.

The Heart Chakra is located on the spine in the area of the heart.

The Sanskrit name for the Heart Chakra is Anahata,

Meaning unhurt,

Unstuck,

And unbeaten.

This chakra is associated with our ability to give and receive love,

To feel compassion,

And to reach out to others.

It is the center of the chakras,

Balancing the seven energy centers and linking the lower three physical chakras to the higher ones.

The Heart Chakra is the wellspring of love,

Warmth,

Compassion,

And joy.

The Heart Chakra is the center of your deep bonds with other beings and self-love.

Our hearts hold onto the energy of past traumas.

We build walls to protect our heart,

But this is not how we want to live.

We don't want our hearts to be numb in this way.

This is why we practice Heart Chakra Meditation.

This area where the physical and spiritual meet balance the world of matter with the world of spirit.

The energy of Anahata allows us to recognize that we are part of something larger,

That we are interconnected within an intricate web of relationships,

Extending through life and through this universe.

When your Heart Chakra is open and flowing freely,

Others can feel your love and warmth.

They feel loved and accepted unconditionally.

People feel at peace around you.

You are also kind and loving to yourself.

You take care of yourself.

You know when you need to say no.

You respect yourself.

You nurture and care for your whole being.

Opening and balancing your Heart Chakra allows past grievances to be released so that you can open up a place of pure compassion and love where no hurt or trauma exists.

We will begin the Heart Chakra Meditation now.

Find a comfortable position.

You may be seated or lie down in Shavasana.

Whatever your body is asking of you at this moment,

Soften your eyes,

Relax your jaw,

Relax your mouth.

Make sure your spine is long,

Your neck is long,

And your shoulders are soft.

Close your eyes and begin to pay attention to your breath.

Place one hand on your belly and one hand over your heart.

On every inhale,

Push your belly out.

On every exhale,

Pull your belly button to your spine.

Let's take a few breaths here.

Inhale,

Push your belly out.

Exhale,

Pull your belly button to your spine.

Inhale,

Push your belly out.

Exhale,

Pull your belly to your spine.

One big breath now.

Inhale.

Exhale.

Let your breathing return to normal.

Consciously let go.

Allow yourself to feel deeply relaxed.

Now place your attention on your heart center.

Really notice the sensations in your heart chakra.

It may feel free and open,

May feel free of stress.

It may feel as if there's a blockage of energy.

It could feel heavy and it could feel light.

Whatever the sensation is,

Allow it to just be.

Simply be with it.

Send it loving thoughts.

Send it compassion.

Send it joy.

Now imagine that with each nurturing and nourishing breath,

You're wiping away any dirt or dust that's covering your heart.

Imagine that each breath is actually inhaling into your heart and exhaling out of your heart.

For every inhale,

Inhale from your heart and exhale out of your heart.

Be here with this breath for several moments.

We will now visualize a green crescent that drapes from shoulder to shoulder.

This crescent illuminates your chest from your heart with a bright green light.

As you inhale,

This green light grows brighter.

As you exhale,

This green love energy radiates outwards through your spine,

Throughout your entire body,

Down your legs,

Up your arms,

Into your head,

Filling every cell of your body with absolutely perfect love.

This green light,

Illuminating and bathing your entire body,

Expands and fills the space in front of you.

You find that you are now sitting in the middle of a luscious green garden.

Plants and flowers surround you,

All blooming,

All surrounded with the green light.

You smell the dew of the plants around you.

The green light expands over every plant and every flower in the room.

You notice a flower that looks like a heart.

You walk towards this flower.

You focus your gaze on this beautiful heart-shaped flower,

Blooming brightly in front of your eyes.

This flower brightens with the green light that surrounds you,

That surrounds this garden.

This flower represents the heart chakra.

We will now begin to clear the heart chakra.

Keep your mind on the heart-shaped flower and the garden that surrounds you as you repeat the following statements in your mind.

Joy is my reason for living.

Joy is my reason for living.

I look for the joy in myself and see it in all things.

I look for the joy in myself and see it in all things.

I let my heart shine.

I let my heart shine.

I am worth loving.

I am worth loving.

There is love all around me.

There is love all around me.

I am love.

I am peace.

I am light.

I follow my heart's desire for truth,

Goodness,

And love.

I follow my heart's desire for truth,

Goodness,

And love.

My core is pure and innocent.

My core is pure and innocent.

I open my heart to all goodness.

I open my heart to all goodness.

I am quiet and listen to my heart's song.

I am quiet and listen to my heart's song.

I choose to be united with all beings in the realm of love and light.

I open my heart and sing the joys of love.

I open my heart and sing the joys of love.

Love opens and heals me.

Love opens and heals me.

Now begin to bring your attention back to the heart-shaped flower.

The green light moves from the flower down its stalk,

Slowly making its way down to the leaves.

The light emits from the tips of the leaves and spreads throughout the surrounding garden.

There is green light all around you,

Green light shining off every plant and every flower.

Gradually,

The green light comes back to your heart center.

Take a moment here to revel in the spectacular garden you have planted in your heart.

Enjoy the vibrant colors and scents,

The beautiful ecosystem that you have built in your heart chakra.

Know that you can come back to this place at any time.

It is always within you,

Filled with green light and energy.

Find your breathing and allow it to come back to normal.

Gradually begin to awaken your body,

Wiggling your fingers,

Wiggling your toes,

Bringing awareness back to the room you are presently in.

Together,

We'll take a deep inhale,

Stretching your arms and legs,

And exhaling the breath all the way out through the feet.

Inhale your breath,

Pushing your belly out,

Exhaling,

Letting all of your breath travel over your body and leave.

When you're ready,

Slowly open your eyes,

Bring your hands to prayer position on your heart center or just rest them gently on your heart chakra.

Bow your head and thank your heart chakra for her love and kindness.

You are now ready to return to your day.

Exhale breath.
