As you're settling in,
Choose a position that allows you to be comfortable and relaxed,
Ideally a place where you can be uninterrupted for the duration of this meditation.
For the purposes of this meditation,
If you can,
Choose a position where your feet are planted on the floor.
This isn't 100% necessary,
But it will help with the visualization.
Begin by finding your breath,
Breathing nice and deep.
We're going to do three breaths together.
When you inhale,
Imagine there's a set of lungs at the top of your head.
Imagine drawing the breath down in through the top of your head,
All the way down to the soles of your feet.
On the exhale,
Reverse the image and imagine pushing the breath all the way from your feet out the top of your head,
Engaging your diaphragm to squeeze out all of the expired air so you can get a nice full inhale on the return.
Here we go with the first breath,
Breathing in nice and full,
All the way down to your feet.
Now exhale and release all of the breath out of the top of your head.
Good.
Now one more,
Breathing in and breathing out.
Feel your body opening,
Responding to this breath.
As you take one more breath in and out.
Wonderful.
As you relax and settle in,
Make any adjustments to your posture and your position.
Allow yourself to be as physically comfortable as you can.
Let your breath find its natural rhythm.
Feel yourself coming fully into the body,
Fully into the room,
Fully into the present moment.
As you breathe,
Feel yourself beginning to expand.
Feel the relaxation as it spreads through your body,
Giving permission to all of your cells to balance and open,
Giving your mind and your nervous system permission to settle and go still,
Like the surface of a lake that is perfectly smooth and clear.
If a distracting thought comes in,
Simply observe it,
Just like a wave on the beach.
The wave comes in,
The wave goes out.
The thought comes in and the thought goes out.
Simply allow it to recede.
Allow the rhythm of your breath to guide you.
Feel the rise and fall of your chest.
Feel the expansion,
Contraction of your abdomen.
Feel how all of your cells are grateful to receive this breath.
Now drop into your center.
Feel your awareness shift from your mind down into the body.
Imagine holding a small pebble over a pond.
Open your fingers and let the pebble drop.
See as it gently floats to the bottom.
Follow the pebble and drop into the deepest part of yourself.
Notice how effortlessly you can allow your awareness to deepen.
Keep breathing.
As you're breathing,
Shift your awareness down to your feet.
Feel them connected to the earth.
Feel the floor beneath them.
No matter where your feet are,
Visualize them as planted firmly on the floor.
Feel that connection.
Feel the gentle magnetic pull of gravity as your connection grows stronger.
As you continue to breathe,
Notice tiny little roots beginning to grow from the bottoms of your feet.
These tiny roots tickle the earth.
She allows this connection as the roots begin to move down past the surface.
She lovingly draws them in.
The roots go stronger and sicker as they travel deeper.
They burrow and wind through the layers beneath you.
As the roots go deeper,
Your connection to the earth grows stronger.
Feel the embrace as the earth calls you closer,
Lovingly pulling you to her.
Keep breathing.
As these roots spiral deeper into the center of the earth,
They begin to draw energy up.
They drink this energy up and pull it to you.
This energy is a gift from the earth.
She lovingly and willingly offers it to you.
It moves up the roots,
Climbing and spiraling towards the surface.
It moves into the soles of your feet,
Filling you with a loving,
Healing vibration.
It gently moves up your legs,
Up over the calves,
Past your knees,
Continues to spread up your thighs,
Past your pelvis and up into your torso,
Spreading into your heart,
Your chest,
Your shoulders and your arms.
Feel the warmth as it gently spreads,
Continuing up your neck and into your face and head.
Feel the energy that moves into every part of your body,
Lighting up each and every cell,
Infusing this healing pulse into the spaces between your cells.
There is not one part of your body that this energy does not reach.
This loving gift restores,
Balances and nourishes your body.
Notice how connected to your body you are in this moment.
Feel yourself completely at home.
Keep breathing.
As you're breathing,
Invite this energy into your heart center.
Visualize your heart center lighting up,
A beacon,
As this energy nourishes,
Balances and restores.
Feel this energy as it lifts any burdens from your body,
Any frustration,
Any difficulties,
Any fears and challenges to simply fall away.
Using your breath,
Now shift your attention to your head.
Breathe and shift.
Imagine a silver thread connected to the top of your head.
It looks like a thread of light.
Watch as it gently begins to climb upward towards the stars.
This thread is your connection to your higher self.
Your higher self is the divine spark that shines from within.
Your higher self is eternal and wise.
It offers you unconditional love and infinite compassion.
Feel the love.
Feel the compassion.
Allow yourself to receive.
Your higher self is with you in each and every moment.
This is the purest version of you that exists beyond the limitations of the physical world.
Breathe deeply now and allow the connection to your higher self to grow and expand.
Feel the healing light your higher self is sending to you as it moves down the thread,
Washes over you,
Moves down the thread in through the top of your head.
It is a warm,
Loving light.
It moves into your physical body and lights up the cells,
Permeates each and every part of you.
This light is loving and intelligent.
It is the light of your soul.
This light is here to remind you of your inherent divinity.
You are worthy because you are.
You are the universe in a body,
Creator in physical form.
Keep breathing.
This divine light continues to weave its way through your body,
Moves into each and every corner,
Illuminating you from within.
This light moves into your heart and begins to mix and merge with the energy you receive from the earth.
A mixture of energy,
Formless,
Form,
Physical.
Feel the light within you growing brighter.
Feel your physical body healing into balance,
Restoring itself to the divine blueprint.
Your body is made of the same stuff as the earth.
Your vessel is a physical form that is connected to all living things upon the planet.
You share the same home and are made of the same materials.
Feel the resonance of connection your body has to the physical world.
Your body is a gift.
It is the home of your soul.
Each cell is here to support you in your journey through this lifetime.
Feel this truth.
Breathe it in.
If your body is the lamp,
Yourself is the light that shines from the lamp.
This light is eternal.
This is the light of unconditional love and infinite compassion.
You share the same vibration as spirit.
At your core,
You are spirit.
Feel this truth.
Breathe it in.
Feel this connection and know that you are the perfect balance,
The physical and the non-physical,
The form and the formless.
As you gently return to your breath,
Feel the beautiful balance that has returned to your mind,
To your nervous system,
To your emotional self,
And your physical body.
Place your hand across your heart and offer deep gratitude to your higher self.
Offer deep gratitude to the earth and offer deep gratitude to your body for all that it does for you.
Breathing deeply,
Feel yourself returning to the room,
Returning fully to your body,
Returning fully to this moment in time.
Whenever you need to remind yourself,
Your body,
Your mind,
Your emotions of this pristine and balanced place,
Simply place your hand across your heart and breathe.
Remember the light that you are eternally shines.

Become aware of the room around you.
Become aware of your breath.
Take a nice deep breath,
A full and complete exhale.
Wiggle your toes.
Give a nice big stretch.
