Welcome as we begin a sacred journey of forgiveness.
Sit or lie down in a comfortable position,
Moving your body into whatever posture is needed to be fully comfortable.
Simply closing your eyes and bringing your gaze to your heart center and calling your consciousness into this moment.
This meditation can be used to support you to release and let go of any wrongdoings,
Hurt,
Pain you may have perceived against you,
To forgive others,
To forgive those that have hurt or harmed you and most importantly to forgive yourself and come back into wholeness,
Forgiveness and peace.
Moving any blocks from past or present relationships that are preventing your most whole and greatest self.
Taking a deep breath in through your nose and hold it for a few seconds and let it out through your mouth with a sigh.
Again inhale through your nose and let go of your breath with a relaxing sigh.
Inviting you to do this a few times and each breath let that relaxation that you're beginning to feel grow a little deeper.
With each inhale you are filling up every cell in your body with a beautiful light-filled energy.
Knowing that with each exhale you are releasing that which no longer serves you,
Feeling lighter and lighter,
Almost weightless.
As I mentioned these body parts just allowing them to completely let go at the deepest level.
Working with the crown of your head,
Relaxing your scalp,
Your temples,
Moving down to your eyelids and relaxing the skin and muscles around your eyes and coming to your jaw,
Gently separating your teeth and lips,
Relaxing your jaw,
Moving down to your throat,
Moving down to your shoulders and allowing them to release,
Relaxing your hips all the way down to your thighs,
Relaxing your knees,
Coming all the way down your shins,
Down to your feet,
Allowing your toes to relax as your body becomes softer and softer.
Just feeling peace and alignment with the forces of nature and all that is.
Wherever you feel tightness,
Invite in softness.
Wherever you feel fear,
Invite trust.
Your body can now completely relax.
You are safe and fully supported.
As we know when we hold onto resentment,
Anger,
Frustration,
Fear,
Confusion,
Sorrow or pain,
We are only harming ourselves.
It blocks our spiritual growth and can cause illness in our body and minds.
Forgiveness is the willingness to release old stored toxic energy and restore yourself to wholeness and peace.
I invite you to visualize someone that you feel you need to forgive.
The first person that comes to mind is the perfect person.
And this meditation can be done as many times as you like to offer forgiveness to everyone in your life that you feel you need to be completely at peace with.
As you see this person stand before you,
Allow yourself to feel into the painful emotions that you've carried because you've not forgiven them.
Let yourself feel the discomfort and the weight of keeping your heart closed.
Begin breathing softly,
Begin asking and extending forgiveness.
Allowing yourself to say whatever you need to say to that person in order to feel a deep sense of release.
Take some time now.
If you feel you need to pause this recording,
Please feel free to do so.
After you've said all that you need to,
Feel free to start this recording again.
Allowing yourself to see this person as a child of God,
Perhaps knowing that they were living in the only way they knew how in how they had experienced life.
Thanking them for being your teacher.
Then step into that inner knowing that we are all one and that by separating yourself from them is only fragmenting your own energy.
See yourself offering your hand and telling them that you forgive them.
Understanding why they did what they did and now you feel a deep sense of peace and love.
Assume to yourself right now,
I forgive you.
This does not mean that you have to forget the experience.
You can take that wisdom and lessons and allow yourself to move forward to an open and loving heart.
I choose in this present moment to forgive and let go of anything less than love in my life.
Forgiveness is not something that can be forced.
You may feel free to do this meditation regularly and you will know when you've truly found forgiveness in your heart.
Feeling in this powerful meditation,
Deepening your breath and return your attention to your body.
Bring your right hand over your heart and then your left hand over your right.
Feeling your heart beating.
Feel that warmth and light,
That light that is always lit for you.
Whenever you are ready,
Gently open your eyes and know that you have all the love in your heart to completely forgive.
