Namaste and welcome to Touch Yoga Storybox,
Meditations that apply the power of touch to help you embrace the benefits of meditation storytelling.
First of all,
Make yourself comfortable either sitting or lying down,
Move around a little until you feel settled.
And once you're comfortable,
Relax your shoulders down the back of your spine and bring your hands together in prayer,
Letting the thumbs gently touch the sternum,
The sea of tranquility point.
This point calms the central nervous system.
So gently close your eyes down and let's breathe into this point for five breaths.
Breathing in through the nose and out through the mouth.
One more deep breath in and out.
Then gently bring the fingertips to the kidney 27 point.
To find this point,
Bring the fingers to the collarbone,
Slide them towards the centre of the throat and then slide the fingers below the collarbone about an inch where you will find a natural indentation.
This is the kidney 27 point and a wonderful point for strengthening the immune system and also helping to realign the body's energy.
Gently massage this point for five nourishing,
Wonderful breaths.
This time breathing in and out through the nose.
One more deep breath in and out.
Now relax the arms at the side of the body,
Letting the breath become slower and natural at a pace which is right just for you.
Now begin to visualise the beautiful summer's day and you are sat down on a mountain top.
It's a very safe place and it's just starting to go dusk.
You have no place to go,
No place to be,
Just in the here and the now.
And as you look around you can see the sun finally disappearing over the horizon and a soothing darkness begins to descend.
See yourself lying down on a soft blanket and resting your head comfortably to gaze up at the night sky.
You feel comfortable,
Safe and relaxed.
You see the beautiful moon shining down and the stars beginning to appear twinkling in the night sky.
And as you watch the sky become darker,
The moon and stars become brighter and sharper.
Relax,
Breathe in and breathe out.
As you settle down into watching the night sky,
You become aware of a faint green ribbon of light in the distance,
Like a wisp of smoke and as it gets closer it becomes more solid,
Brighter.
See this green light gently resting above you,
Hovering,
Sending a beautiful sensation of healing throughout your physical body.
Feel this energy being absorbed into every cell,
Your entire being,
Feeling energised and cleansed.
Breathe in,
Breathe out.
Now become aware of a faint pink ribbon of light in the distance,
Like a wisp of smoke as it gets closer,
Becoming more solid in colour.
See this pink light gently rest above you,
Sending its healing through your emotional body.
Feel this pink beautiful energy being absorbed into every cell,
Leaving a beautiful layer of pink over the green.
Now you can see a faint blue ribbon of light in the distance,
Like a wisp of smoke.
It gets closer and becomes more solid in colour.
This time see this blue light sending healing through your mental body.
Feel the blue energy being absorbed into every cell,
Leaving a beautiful layer of blue over the green and the pink.
Relax,
Breathe in and breathe out.
Now become aware of a faint purple ribbon of light,
Like a wisp of smoke drifting lazily towards you and as it gets closer,
Become aware of a deep relaxing feeling and healing being sent through your spiritual body.
Let that purple energy fill your entire cells.
Relax,
Leaving a layer of purple and raising the vibrations of the green physical,
The pink emotional,
The blue mental,
Becoming a beautiful rainbow of light.
Now see these healing lights all together,
Emerging,
Absorbed gently into your entire body.
It feels wonderful.
Feel this beautiful rainbow of light moving within you,
Coating all your cells with this wonderful healing light and healing energy.
Stay here for a few more moments.
Breathe in and breathe out.
The healing lights have become absorbed gently into your body and it's now time to leave the mountain and gently become aware of your own surroundings.
Breathe in and breathe out,
Breathing more energised.
