Quick shielding exercise to support empaths and HSP protect their energy and prevent overwhelm. Shielding is a quick way to protect yourself; to block negative energies while still allowing the free flow of positive energies. Return to this meditation before entering, or when in, an environment that feels chaotic and overwhelming, or whenever you need. Namaste.

This is a quick shielding exercise to support empaths protect their energy,

Especially in situations and environments that can feel overwhelming.

So please find a seat somewhere where you're going to have a nice long spine and settle in for a moment.

If you're on the move,

Standing is completely fine as well.

Let's begin by taking a few deep long breaths and breathe in at the nose or the mouth really feeling the breath as it moves into the body and breathe out again nose or mouth whatever is most comfortable and really feel the breath moving out of the body and a few more like this a deep breath in big belly breath feel the navel rise the ribcage widen and on the breaths out notice everything draw back to center the ribcage the navel as you're finding these initial rounds of breath noticing maybe energy starting to flow through the body starting to balance starting to regulate as energy and sacred life force as you continue to focus your awareness on the breath allow all thoughts start to drift through the mind thoughts are merely clouds in the sky drifting through the mind then your breath continuously creating space from the thoughts allowing the breath allowing our focus on the breath to keep us centered within our awareness and within our body and then begin to let our focus on the breath go and I invite you to visualize a beautiful shield of white or pink light surrounding your physical body completely show a shield of white or pink light surrounding the physical body and even extending a few inches beyond it as you continue to visualize this white or pink shield surrounding your body know that it protects you from anything negative anything stressful anything toxic or intrusive within the protection of this field and this shield you can feel yourself centered happy and energized the shield continues to block out negativity and as it does so you can feel what is positive and loving within it as you start to notice yourself within this shield and start to know and get used to its protective qualities also know that you can return to this space and visualize the shield whenever you need to whenever you suspect that you're absorbing someone else's energy whenever the environment around you feels overwhelming or chaotic is returning back to this space and recreating revisualizing this field that is surrounding you when you're ready silently say a quick thank you for this protection take a deep breath in long slow breath out one more like that deep breath in long slow breath out when you're ready you can gently flutter the eyes open and come back to the room that you're in or the space that you're in and just gently look around the space just noticing becoming aware of anything that's within your space and with each round of breath coming back to your body completely namaste
