Welcome to day one of the blank canvas meditation journey.

Our first meditation together is about celebrating this blank canvas as we step into a new year ahead.

So you're welcome to find a comfortable seat.

Let the eyes gently close,

Allowing your whole self to arrive into this moment.

Let each deep breath invite you right here into the present moment,

Into the blank canvas.

And this blank canvas is the empty space where images can emerge and come to life.

This blank canvas is an open space that paves the way for infinite possibilities.

A blank canvas is an invitation to show up on purpose with fresh eyes,

A curious mind,

And an open heart.

So as you come into this place of intentional stillness,

We get to witness that vast blank canvas that is in that space behind your eyes.

And it's because of this vast emptiness or vast spaciousness that allows us to receive more clarity and renewal.

We get to choose again and again what we want to create for ourselves.

So as you sit in this meditation,

Inviting your awareness inward to your blank canvas that allows for infinite possibilities,

Ask yourself,

What does space create room for?

What does space create room for?

What is wanting to come alive through you in the blank canvas of this new year?

What is wanting to come alive through you in the blank canvas of this new year?

And maybe it's today or this month,

But take a moment to listen to the wisdom within.

What is wanting to come alive through you on this blank canvas?

And maybe words come to mind,

Dreams come to your heart,

And colors might start to arise and dissolve in your awareness.

Take this intentional time to be curious about this blank canvas,

This intentional space,

To be curious about what you are truly wanting to create,

Letting it come alive one effortless breath at a time,

Letting your heart speak to you and becoming quiet enough to listen.

What is wanting to come alive through you on this blank canvas?

And as you visualize what you're wanting to create come alive right in front of you in that space,

How does it feel in your body,

Your mind,

Your heart?

Maybe the shoulder soften,

An inward or outward smile comes to your face.

Maybe you feel a sense of trust or confidence.

How does it feel to witness what you're wanting to create come alive through this blank canvas,

Allowing the space of this blank canvas to be the foundation from which you can create.

Let the empty background of the blank canvas become an intentional space for clarity and inspiration to be revealed.

Take this next moment to visualize and feel the energy of what you're wanting to create.

It might be something that you already know or maybe something new arises.

What is wanting to come alive through you on the blank canvas of this fresh start?

Visualize yourself writing it,

Creating it,

Embodying it,

Feeling it,

The vibrancy of what you're creating fully alive and present in your mind,

Body and heart.

As you invite your creations and your dreams to life,

Start to reach your arms all the way up and over your head,

Gathering the insights and the clarity and inspiration as you press the palms together,

Guiding them down into your heart center,

Trusting that we can move our desires from the inner world,

From the heart,

Out into the hands to be felt and created in the external world.

Take a deep breath in and a deep exhale,

Letting your arms release and blinking the eyes open.

This meditation is now complete.
