Welcome to this 20 minute practice of guided meditation.
Prepare for this practice by giving yourself the permission to let go.
I will be guiding you through a visualization today.
Get yourself into a comfortable position for meditation.
Begin with focusing your awareness on your breath.
Inhale,
Count one.
Exhale,
Count one.
Inhale,
Count two.
Exhale,
Count two.
Inhale,
Count three.
Exhale,
Count three.
Continue to inhale and exhale,
Counting the breath.
If you come distracted,
Return back to one.
Come.
Feel belly rise and fall with each breath.
Whole body relaxed.
Allow the earth to support the weight of your body beneath you.
All you need to do is listen and receive.
Try and stay with my voice.
Let go of any expectations of what you should be doing.
Just feel into it and listen.
Begin with an open mind.
Be open to receiving and open to becoming deeply relaxed.
Bring your awareness now to the space behind the forehead,
Home of inner wisdom and intuition.
Visualize yourself walking down a path,
A path that has been created through a field of lush green grass.
This path seems very familiar to you,
Like you have walked down it many times before.
The path is soft beneath your shoes,
A mixture of soil,
Fallen leaves,
You notice the sound as you walk.
Your body relaxes and your mind clears more and more with each step you take.
You feel the breath of your body,
The breath of your body,
The breath of your mind.
Feel the air that comes from your body,
The air that comes from your body.
Take time to feel the sun on your skin,
The air brush against your body.
Smell the fresh sense that nature has to offer.
Breathe in the fresh air,
Filling your lungs completely.
Now exhale,
Breathe out all the air,
Feeling refreshed.
Take another deep breath in,
Revitalizing and breathe out completely,
Letting your body relax further.
Continue to walk along this path,
You notice in the distance a gate,
Curious,
You walk over to it.
See clearly the color and shape of this gate,
It may feel familiar to you,
Something you have seen before.
This gate is the entrance into your inner knowing and your inner healing.
Reach out to open the gate,
And as you walk through you discover a beautiful abundant garden,
A circular flower garden surrounded by lush green grass,
Tall trees,
Familiar sounds,
Birds singing,
Birds singing,
Birds singing,
A gentle breeze blowing,
The leaves on the trees shift and sway in the soft wind,
And also hear a faint sound of running water from a waterfall or a stream nearby.
You look around you,
You notice the green grass,
The green grass,
The green grass,
A fountain nearby.
You look around the garden now,
See all the different colors and varieties of flowers and plants within the garden.
Pink,
Orange,
Yellow,
White,
Blue,
Purple,
Amazing deep greens.
You can smell their fragrance,
You admire their beauty.
Standing tall you realize this is your sacred space and this space only exists just for you.
Take a moment to look around your space,
See everything through your own eyes,
Allowing images to appear and soaking up the beautiful energy this place provides and a feeling of being at home.
Your body relaxes more and more as you walk,
Counting your steps,
Breathe in unison with your strides,
Feeling at one with nature,
Feel the sun warming your body,
Enjoying the majestic landscape.
You feel your body relaxing even more.
Continue to breathe the clean fresh air.
You feel so relaxed,
Calm,
At peace,
In unity with nature around you.
Enjoy the sights,
Sounds and smells.
Feel the gentle breeze blow across your cheek,
Listen to the birds singing,
The leaves rustling in the breeze.
Look up to the blue sky,
Notice the small white clouds floating gently across the sky.
Watch them drift slowly by,
Shapes ever changing.
Enjoy this peaceful place.
Release your fears,
Your pride and be brave enough to go,
To venture into new territories within your inner landscape.
The messages,
Images and sounds and ideas you receive now are important to you personally,
Spiritually and creatively.
Pay attention,
Be brave and be open.
You come to a clearing of lush soft green grass.
There is a circle of beautiful stones laid out on the grass that seem to be inviting you inside.
You step inside the circle and take a seat on the grass,
Feeling comfortable and supported by the earth.
You naturally begin to take some deep breaths in and out through your nose,
Feeling the body expand and contract with the passing breath.
You begin to feel an overwhelming connection to the earth beneath you.
You feel safe and protected,
Feeling completely grounded and feeling at one with everything.
This feels like home.
You notice a soft light beginning to illuminate out from the circle of stones around you.
This light that is illuminating out is bright white in color.
It feels warm and nurturing.
You begin to breathe this beautiful healing light into your body.
Feel this light expanding to every corner of your body,
Spreading down the legs and arms,
Filling the torso,
The head,
The heart.
See it filling and filtering through every cell.
Feel the vibration of this energizing,
Cleansing light.
Let it into your mind.
Allow it to cleanse out any negative self beliefs,
Any old habitual thought patterns that no longer serve you.
Know that this light has the power to wipe them away and completely heal our minds.
Let the mind be dissolved by this radiant light.
See the thoughts dissolving and melting away.
Renewing your body and mind.
Completely healing your body and mind.
Every cell,
Your entire being.
Your body feels amazing.
Every cell has been cleansed and renewed.
All of the body organs are refreshed and awakened.
The mind has been cleared and you feel a wave of euphoria wash over you.
Absolute bliss,
Pure love,
Feeling love pulsating throughout your entire being,
Your true essence.
Experience pure,
Unconditional love.
Know that you are pure love.
When you are ready to leave this peaceful place,
Slowly begin to reawaken your body.
Keeping the sense of pure love and bliss with you,
It's time to leave your sacred space.
Take a moment to say goodbye and know that you can return to this garden visualization in your imagination whenever you like.
As you reawaken,
Keep with you the feeling of calm,
Peace and relaxation.
Start to wiggle your fingers and toes.
Reawaken.
Stretch out the body.
It is time to open your eyes when you are ready.
Really open your eyes and return to full wakefulness,
Feeling alert and refreshed.
Open your heart and mind to the miraculous wonder of life.
