This guided meditation gives you a time of connection with your inner child in a nonjudgmental, loving space where they can relax and feel safe, validated, and cherished. You will be welcoming the part of you that is Little You or Young You into your awareness, and offering them some very powerful words to send love, safety, validation, and gratitude into that part of you. In this way, you are tending to your own deep being and offering yourself healing, nourishment, and growth beyond things that may have been causing you anxiety or holding you back in the present, from the freedom and health and the joy that you truly deserve.

Hello special soul,

This guided meditation gifts you a time of connection with your inner child in a non-judgmental loving space where they can relax and feel safe,

Validated and cherished.

You will be welcoming the part of you that is little you or young you into your awareness,

Recognising the essence of their innocence,

Wonder,

Wisdom,

Joy and tenderness and offering them some very powerful words.

And in this way you are tending to your own deep being and offering yourself healing,

Nourishment and growth beyond things that may have been causing you anxiety or holding you back from the freedom and the health and the joy that you truly deserve.

So let's begin.

Begin to settle into this moment and feel yourself landing.

You may gently close your eyes.

Let your body find comfort as it settles as if you were sinking into a soft,

Warm,

Familiar place,

A place where you feel safe and peaceful and relaxed.

Sinking in.

Take a deep,

Nourishing breath,

Feeling the air fill your lungs and then slowly releasing it,

Letting go of any tension you may have been holding.

With your next inhalation,

Allow your breath to reach all the way down to the roots of your being and as you exhale,

Feel yourself gently release all the weight inside you.

This time is for you and your precious inner child,

A healing sanctuary where you can connect with each other and allow some real goodness to move in.

You are so safe here,

In this moment,

In this space,

In your breathing.

Begin to imagine now that you are drawing closer to that part of you that is your inner child and you may see or sense them moving towards you,

Drawn by your loving attention.

This part of you has always been there and is always there.

It is the essence of your innocence,

Your wonder,

Your wisdom,

Your joy,

And the essence of your tenderness,

Your aches,

Your questioning.

Allow yourself to gently welcome in little you,

Young you,

So that they can truly receive the love that you are offering,

The healing,

The validation that they have always needed.

During this time,

Just allowing yourself to be present with whatever arises,

Knowing that you are simply here to be with your inner child and that what you are offering here with some simple words is so,

So potent.

Be if you can sense a part of your body where you can feel your inner child settling in,

Maybe your belly or your heart,

There's some charge there,

Some settling.

And if you sense this,

This moving in of energy,

You might take your hands to that part to make a connection.

That may mean placing one hand on your heart and the other on your belly.

You can sense what feels most connecting.

And now breathing some nice,

Deep,

Slow waves of breath and let these words flow into your being and meet your inner child.

They're listening.

Beautiful little you,

You wonderful child.

I'm so glad you're here.

You are safe.

I love you unconditionally,

Exactly as you are.

I see you,

I hear you and I understand you.

You are the one I have all the time in the world for you.

You belong here.

You are safe.

You are precious.

You matter.

And what you need is important to me.

You are never alone.

I am always with you.

Your presence is a gift to me,

Little one.

I love being with you because you are so precious and so special.

I care about you.

You matter to me and you are easy to love.

You're breathing in and breathing out,

Feeling that movement of breath inside of you,

Warming your being,

Bringing you closer.

You do not have to earn my love.

There is nothing you can do to make me stop loving you.

You are free to be completely and utterly yourself,

Little one.

You are safe to shine just as you are.

That isn't one tiny bit of you that you need to change.

Don't change.

You do not have to hide yourself.

You are safe to be here fully now and to be fully you,

Wonderful you.

It's okay to be vulnerable.

I am here to hold you and support you.

You deserve to be happy and free.

There is nothing you can do that's wrong.

We are learning and growing together.

I am always holding your hand.

You are a beautiful,

Precious soul and you matter so much.

I'm here for you.

How can I support you?

Is there anything you'd like me to do for you?

And I will.

Just breathe and feel and let your inner child's voice come through now.

Thank you.

I love it when you talk to me.

And I am here for you,

Listening.

I love it when you show up inside me no matter what is happening.

I will always be here for you,

Little one.

I'll always look after you.

You're safe with me.

Wherever we go,

Whatever we're doing,

We'll always be holding hands.

It's so special to know you,

To be with you and to be in your company.

We are always together.

Thank you,

For being you.

For everything about you.

I give you so much credit for all you are.

I am in awe of you and I love you.

And I am so,

So grateful for you and glad of you.

And breathing in and breathing out,

Feeling your hands on your body,

Feeling your body,

Feeling this connection and what's coming through.

Maybe you have your own private words now for your inner child.

And as we begin to bring this time of connection,

Love and validation to a close,

Take a moment now to really feel the presence of your inner child.

Hug them in.

Let them know that this bond remains strong even as you return to your day or night.

And that you're there whenever they need you.

You can imagine wrapping your inner child in a warm hug,

Assuring them of your ongoing love and care.

And then when you feel ready,

Begin to bring your awareness back to the present moment.

Notice the sensations that are inside your body.

And the clear air moving in and out of your nostrils and your lungs.

Taking some moments to notice the sensations of what is touching your skin,

Your clothing,

What you're resting on,

Any blankets,

Your own hands.

And feeling the ground beneath you,

Holding you,

Supporting you.

And gently wiggling your fingers,

Your toes,

And when it feels right,

Letting your eyes open spontaneously.

Slowly looking around where you are.

Taking in the shapes,

The colours.

And as you go forward,

You can carry the feelings and the connection you've created so that this part of you that's always with you continues to feel cherished and safe.

Alison, this meditation is so powerful, the background music so tender and calm added to the feeling of empowerment and safety. I really did connect with little Sue and it felt good, she felt held, supported, accepted and knows that she is loved unconditionally. This by far the best inner child meditation that I heard and I love that I can return to this practice again and again hopefully reaffirming the acceptance and unconditional love that I want to share with that very vulnerable, scared part of me.
