Welcome to this guided morning meditation.
This meditation is all about creating your ideal day.
I'll guide you through several techniques to encourage you to breathe deeply,
Give thanks and then call in more of what you want to experience today.
Begin by finding your meditation position.
You can be seated cross-legged or lying down on your back.
If it feels good for you,
Close your eyes.
Quickly scan your body from the tips of your toes up to the crown of your head and just notice if there are any areas of tension or tightness and just offer those areas a breath to relax and soften them.
Wiggle your jaw a little side to side to relax it.
Soften all the tiny muscles around your eyes and drop your shoulders down.
Then choose to begin this day and every day with a grateful heart.
Place your hands on your heart and bring to mind someone that you are so grateful for knowing,
Someone that you have so much love and appreciation for,
Someone that's always there for you.
Let their face start to form in your mind.
Then feel the love that you have for them begin to build and radiate out from your heart centre.
Let a smile form on your face and offer this person a thank you.
Then allow that image to fade away.
As you start to rest your attention on the rhythm of your heartbeat,
Feel your heart beating under the warmth of your hands and give thanks to your heart that has been beating for you before you were born.
Your heart that has allowed you to love and feel love.
Then take a really deep breath in.
Notice how good it feels to take a deep inhale and then exhale completely and give thanks for your breath.
What a gift it is to simply breathe.
And then release your hands and place your attention onto your upcoming day.
And in your mind start to run through all the beautiful things that you'd like to happen,
Almost like you are watching a movie.
Imagine your most perfect day play out and get really specific with all the details.
Let your imagination run wild.
Notice what you see and hear and most importantly how you feel as you move throughout this dream day.
I'll leave you here for two minutes to dream up your dream day.
So so so good and last few moments here and just release your morning meditation,
Noticing how good it feels to set yourself up for this perfect day.
And thank yourself for showing up for meditating today.
