Close your eyes and inhale slowly and fully through your nose.
Then exhale out of your mouth with an audible sigh.
As you relax your jaw,
Tongue,
Shoulders,
Soften your belly and let your legs become heavy.
Relax your mind too,
Shift into the mode of feeling.
As you begin to visualize yourself standing on a tranquil stretch of beach,
Feel the soft sand under your feet,
The sun warming your skin.
Listen to the birdsong as you find a spot to stand just in front of the water's edge.
Feel the ground beneath your feet,
Fully supporting you.
Begin to visualize roots extending from the soles of your feet down through the sand,
Rock,
Deep down into the core of the earth.
Sense the solidity of the earth element,
Helping you tap into your own stability and strength.
And feel anything you want to release being balled down through the roots,
Let it be drawn into the earth to be recycled into something new.
