Thank you for joining this meditation harnessing the energy of the earth and the universe to restore ourselves to recharge our batteries and to fuel our creativity and inspiration.
Let's get started by finding a comfortable position.
I encourage you to remain in a seated position upright so that we may really fully connect with this power of the universe with the straight spine so either seated in a chair,
A bench,
If you're seated on the floor,
Ensuring that you're in a comfortable position that will allow you to remain free of motion,
Focused in this upright posture,
Resting the hands on the lap turned upwards to receive the energy from the universe.
I invite you to gently close the eyes,
Lifting the gaze upward and outward as if you were gazing at a mountain range off in the distance and a sun rising just above the peaks.
Keeping our gaze at this point throughout our meditation,
We'll begin by a simple body scan connecting us and grounding us to the earth.
Beginning by noticing where our feet are connected to the earth.
If they're flat on the ground,
Feeling as if they are like a battery connected into its charger.
Drawing energy upward through the feet,
Noticing each toe,
Any sensations,
Feeling the connection draw this energy through the foot,
The ankle,
The shin,
And the calf,
The knees,
Drawing the energy through the thighs,
Feeling their connection to the earth or your seat and the gentle pull of gravity,
Settling down into this pole,
Bringing our awareness to our tailbone now as we prepare to notice each vertebrae and with our simple intention to draw this energy from the earth through our legs up each single vertebrae,
Turning from the hip bones,
Each vertebrae in the lower back.
Imagine you're plugged in,
Charging that battery,
Pulling the energy upwards through the mid back,
The upper back.
As this energy draws upwards,
You relax the arms down,
Feeling fully supported by the legs,
The shoulders fall away from the ears,
The energy runs down the arms through the fingertips,
Traveling upwards through the upper back and the connection point with the neck,
Allowing the tongue to fall away from the roof of the mouth,
Any last bits of expression to fall away and melts,
As you feel this energy draw up through the crown of the head,
Connecting upwards to the sky.
Visualize this flow of energy through the body and begin to notice your breath coming in and out of the nostrils.
Can you feel the breath swirling around as it flows upward the bridge of the nose?
You feel it fall down the back of the throat and you follow it to fill the belly and rise the chest.
This breath is another form of energy.
As you draw it in through the nostrils,
Pulling it into the body,
It feeds and fuels each cell that it touches,
Offering its energy to the blood that runs through each inch of your body.
Keeping the awareness on the breath.
On your next inhale,
Take a deep inhale through the nose,
Filling the belly first,
Drawing the air up and filling the chest and holding at the top,
Capturing this energy,
Allowing it to swirl and gently exhaling through the nose.
Next inhale,
Deep through the nose,
Fill the belly up,
Feel the chest rise,
Holding at the top,
Capturing all this beautiful life force energy and exhaling through the nose.
One more.
Deep inhale through the nose,
Filling the belly and at the top,
Take more in than you think you can,
Holding.
Allow it to swirl until you can't hold anymore and exhale out through the mouth.
Settling into this newfound space that might have been created through that breathwork.
Again,
To settle in and notice anything that might have changed.
Spaces between inhales.
Refocusing back to the breath,
Gaze lifted upward and outward.
Become a gentle observer of this breath falling in and out.
As we continue our connection with the universe and charging ourselves with its energy,
We visualize a light,
A brilliant white light above the crown of our head.
This light is concentrated and pulsing and growing.
The quieter the mind gets,
The larger this light expands.
Our crown connects with this energy,
This light,
And draws down into the body with each breath.
As you inhale,
Feeling the light coming into the crown,
Making its way down through the spine.
This column of life force pulsing.
As you breathe in,
Coming down through the crown,
The upper back,
All the way to the tailbone.
This light as you breathe in emanates throughout each nerve ending.
Each cell illuminates with its energy.
As you breathe in and exhale anything that no longer serves the purpose of recharging and energizing.
Breathing in,
Drawing that energy downwards into the body.
And exhaling any stale energy,
Negative thoughts,
Fears and anxieties.
Each breath you draw in illuminates each cell and charges each battery.
Can you feel for subtle sensations throughout?
Can you notice your fingers?
Can you sense a feeling of electricity in the body?
This vibrating life force within.
Keep connecting and drawing in through the crown.
It is so important that we recharge our batteries.
As we move throughout this world,
We give our energy to others through our daily activities,
Our work,
Our interactions with the people in our lives.
In order for us to be authentic and fully show up,
We need to come from a place of wholeness.
We take the time to connect with the energy from the earth and our breath in the universe to find this.
It is ever-infinite and is always available to you.
