This simple gratitude exercise will help bring you to a restful sleep. It's a perfect blend of relaxation for your mind and helps you feel more grateful and hopeful as you doze off. I've personally relied on this practice for a considerable time and can confidently vouch for its effectiveness.

Good evening.

This meditation is an excellent way to transition into a good night's sleep.

It's an exercise I use almost every night when I need to,

So I'm happy to pass this on to you and hopefully you can benefit from a good night's sleep.

I'll be here to get you started and then I will end this and you can just keep going at your own pace.

So here's how it works.

I'm gonna ask from you to go from A to Z and with each letter you think of one thing that begins with the letter that you are grateful for and then once you've thought of that letter from A then you move to B and you think of something you're grateful for that begins with B and then you just keep going until Z.

You'll realize,

You'll notice that it'll be very hard for you to get to Z but it'll put you to sleep on a very positive and calming note.

So let's begin.

I'll get you started and then I'll disappear on you and if you do get to Z then feel free to go back to A all over again and try it with different things to be grateful for.

So find yourself lying comfortably in your bed and gently close your eyes and let's begin.

Enjoy.

Hi Alex, I’ve started using this after you mentioned it in one of your mediation sessions and it works so well for me, specially when I wake up in the middle of the night. It’s such a good tool. Thank you 😊
