Hey there!

I know you're busy,

So let's cut to the chase,

It'll only take a few minutes.

Find yourself seated comfortably with your back upright,

And gently close your eyes.

Let's take a deep breath in through the nose,

And slowly exhale.

Relax a little further as you breathe out.

As you exhale,

Notice how you feel in this moment.

Take note of the emotions running through your body.

Where exactly do these emotions lie?

All you have to do is explore the energy that you feel.

Now take note of the surface on which you are seated.

Notice the temperature in the room that you're in.

And again,

Let's take another deep breath in through the nose,

And slowly exhale.

Relax a little further as you breathe out.

And when you fully exhale,

Let's take note of the air flowing in and out of your nostrils.

Those very subtle,

Raw sensations of the air as it brushes in and out.

And you're a busy person,

I know,

So you must have a lot of thoughts running through your mind.

That's okay.

Perfectly normal.

All you have to do is take note of the thought.

Feel free to zoom out on the thought a little bit,

And notice it from a third-person perspective.

Then once you've acknowledged the thought,

Gently go back to feeling the air flow in and out of your nostrils.

Is one nostril more blocked than the other?

Can you feel the air brush against the upper lip as you exhale?

Notice the temperature when you breathe in.

It's a little cooler when you breathe in,

And a little warmer when you breathe out.

Take note of the pace at which you are breathing.

And again,

Let's take another deep breath in through the nose,

As deep as you can.

And again,

And slowly exhale when you're fully exhaled.

Notice your body,

And relax your muscles,

Relax your jaw,

Relax your shoulders,

Relax your arms,

Relax your belly.

Make sure your whole body is now relaxed.

Can you notice your shoulders moving with each breath?

It may be the most subtle of movements.

Take a moment to observe those movements.

Are there any sounds that are accompanied by your breath?

Can you hear your breath?

Can you feel your belly expand and contract with each inhale and exhale?

And again,

Relax your body,

Relax your muscles,

Relax your jaw.

And now I'd like you to imagine yourself as the best version of you.

What are you like when you are the best version of yourself?

You know,

When you're having a great day,

Things are going well for you.

How do you feel in this moment?

What characteristics do you usually exude?

Just imagine yourself being this best version of yourself.

Notice how your posture is.

Notice how your voice is when you are your best version.

Notice how you move.

Notice your energy.

And notice how you interact with people.

And know that this version of you is you.

It's always there.

So let's take another deep breath in through the nose,

As deep as you can.

And slowly exhale,

Relax a little further as you breathe out.

And as this meditation comes to an end,

I'd like you to think of something about today for which you are grateful.

It may be an achievement,

An interaction,

Or something very small that you're looking forward to.

What is it about today that you're excited about,

That you are grateful for?

Have a moment and reflect on that.

Notice the emotions that run through your body.

This,

My friend,

Is positivity.

And there's so much in you that can be harvested.

So welcome this positivity and know that you are going to have a great day.

You are incredible.

And you should be proud of yourself.

Wishing you a successful rest of the day,

Or night.

Much love.

Great reminder to always be our 'best selves', and that, even when busy, there is always 10mins to spend on ourselves.
