It will focus on "I am" affirmations to reduce negative belief systems about your toxic family dynamic as well as replace them with loving affirmations towards yourself. It is less than 5 minutes long so it is a track that can be easily fit into a busy schedule.

And welcome to Free to Be Me in 2023.

As you begin your journey free from narcissistic abuse.

I would like you to take a moment to sit back and relax.

Close your eyes,

Loosen the tension from your jaw,

From your shoulders,

From your body,

And take a few deep breaths.

Inhale 12345 and exhale 12345.

Inhale 12345,

Exhale 12345.

We are going to focus on releasing some of those thoughts that we believe to be true in our family of origin.

All these affirmations will begin with I am.

As I am are two of the most powerful words in the English language.

Anything we say after them will either lift us up or tear us down.

Let's begin.

I am no longer going to keep secrets in my family.

I am no longer going to allow myself to walk on eggshells.

I am no longer going to lie to keep the peace in my family.

I am no longer going to pretend that others are healthy when they are not.

I am not going to tiptoe around the truth.

I am not going to attend events that derail my healing process.

I am no longer going to defend poor choices.

I am no longer going to engage in toxic behaviors.

I am not going to remain loyal to destructive patterns.

I am not going to sacrifice my needs in order to attempt to fix or save others.

Let's take a quick check-in of our body.

Is our jaw relaxed?

Are our shoulders relaxed?

Let's shake out any tension that's residing in our body right now.

I can be patient with myself as I heal through this difficult journey.
