Meditation Timer OnlineDr. Adriana Jarvis Twitchell is an anxiety specialist, musician, and educator dedicated to helping individuals transform their relationship with stress. Her work focuses on music performance anxiety and evidence-based strategies for optimizing stress responses in high-pressure situations. She is the host of Calm Your Caveman, a podcast that translates neuroscience and psychology into practical tools for understanding emotion, regulating anxiety, and cultivating more supportive stress responses in everyday life. Her research has been published in Frontiers in Psychology (2025), and she brings over 30 years of experience as a teacher and coach. Dr. Twitchell is currently Professor of Piano at the State University of Santa Catarina in Florianópolis, Brazil. An active performer, she is a founding member of the award-winning Avery Ensemble and has appeared in concert across the United States, Brazil, Israel, and Canada.
