Thank yourself for showing up today.

Release your shoulders from your ears and lower them down.

Take your tongue down from the roof of your mouth and unclench your jaw.

Now,

I want you to take a deep breath in,

Fill your belly up with air and slowly exhale.

And as you exhale,

I want you to imagine that you're releasing all the stale air and energy from your body.

You can either have your palms down to keep you grounded or upwards and be open to all that the universe has to give to you.

And as you're inhaling,

I want you to visualize that you're inhaling peace and abundance.

And on your exhale again,

Imagine that you're releasing all the stale energy,

Worry,

Anxiety,

And anything that does not serve you.

You are safe.

You are peace.

Envision that you are walking along the beach and as you're walking,

Imagine there's a giant anchor tied to your waist.

And the more you keep trying to walk,

This anchor just keeps pulling you back.

This anchor can be anything that you feel does not serve you anymore.

And as you keep trying to move forward,

You keep imagining that you're taking 10 steps back.

And you look down and you notice a pair of scissors.

You decide to pick these scissors up and only you can free yourself from what is holding you back from your inner peace.

You decide to cut this rope that keeps this anchor attached to your waist.

And now envision yourself cutting the rope.

And once you cut this rope,

You lunge forward towards your greatest potential,

Your greatest potential for peace.

And this anchor is left behind.

Maybe this anchor was trauma,

Anxiety,

Worry,

Or just anything that keeps you from reaching your best good.

Now inhale.

Nice,

Deep inhale.

And you exhale.

All of the stale,

Stagnant energy,

Anxiety,

Worry that no longer serves you.

You are safe.

You are doing your best and your best is good.

And anytime another thought comes into your mind,

Gently redirect it and focus on the space between your eyebrows.

And as you inhale again,

Take another deep,

Big belly breath and exhale all of the stress.

What color is the stress that you're exhaling?

You are safe.

Exactly what I needed. That anchor analogy really gave me a new perspective.
