If you want to transform your life,
You must transform your relationship towards life itself.
Hey there,
Friend.
My name is Anthony,
And thank you for hitting play today and sitting with me for a few minutes.
Our relationship towards life and all it encompasses can be defined by how we think and feel.
It's our overall vibe,
The attitude we embody as a human being.
It's the energy we hold in our bodies and project into the world.
You've probably heard it hundreds of times that manifesting experiences in the outer world is about raising your vibration or shifting your energy.
And one of the most direct ways we can change our vibe or change our energy is by moving away from lack and into a state of having or abundance.
And this is done through gratitude.
Gratitude carries the key energetic signature that allows us to shift our energy,
To match the vibration of the experiences,
Outcomes,
And the reality we are looking to manifest in our lives.
So,
How do we step into gratitude?
Well,
While doing things like keeping a gratitude journal,
Reciting affirmations,
Or silently recounting all the things you are grateful for are great ways to boost gratitude,
However,
We have to remember gratitude is an emotion.
It must be felt in the body,
And not just stated in the mind.
It must be experienced as a state of being to wire in its energetic signature.
And this is what we need to activate its magic.
We need to shift our neurophysiology.
We must create transformation from within.
And that's what we're going to do together in this practice.
So,
I invite you to just get comfortable and settle into wherever you are right now.
Just become grounded and aware of the life within you and all around you.
Welcome in your breathing,
And bring in some fresh oxygen into your lungs.
Feel your feet touching the floor.
And if you can,
See if you can sense your heartbeat,
And just welcome in your entire experience right now.
Just welcome in all of life right now,
All of this beautiful,
Grand mystery.
So,
What really is gratitude?
We've all heard gratitude bandied about,
And how powerful it is to drastically change our lives.
But I want to offer you this definition of gratitude to consider.
Gratitude is about revealing what is already there.
Every spiritual text has told us this from the beginning of time.
What we seek is within us.
The kingdom of heaven lies inside.
Meaning,
You are already perfect.
You already have everything you need to be perfect.
We might understand this intellectually,
But we must experience it viscerally,
If we want to use it to transform our lives.
And we can do that by being grateful.
Gratitude is about revealing what is already there,
And how powerful it is to drastically change our lives.
By simply getting into our bodies,
And paying deep,
Deep unbridled homage.
So,
The first step is to bring your full awareness to your whole body right now.
And I know this may be a bit of a contradiction,
But not with your mind though.
Of course,
We will naturally lead with our minds to take us to the experience.
But this connection,
This awareness is made by using our felt senses.
By getting into our bodies,
And feeling.
So right now,
I invite you to feel into the splendor that is your body.
Feel it.
Notice the sensations.
Hold them.
And as we go about this practice,
Allow that connection to be the fuel to generate the feelings of gratitude.
So to begin to do that,
I invite you to consider What is the relationship with your body?
No judgment here.
But what is the relationship with your body?
What is the relationship with your five senses?
What about your arms and legs?
What about the relationship to all the activities and functions your body carries out,
Most of which you are unaware of?
Just reflect for a moment on how your body supports you every single day.
You know,
This may seem like a strange concept to consider.
Your relationship with your body?
But have you ever thought about it?
Really?
Is your body and all its functions your friend and trusted confidant?
Or is it a source of dissatisfaction,
Discomfort,
Or even suffering?
Does it remind you of what you lack?
Again,
No judgment here.
Or admonishing yourself or putting yourself down.
I've been there.
Just become fully aware of your relationship with your body.
Now consider the following.
Imagine you were deprived of sight.
And now,
In this very moment,
You are seeing with your eyes for the very first time.
Imagine you received air coming into your nostrils after being touched by the air.
Imagine you were lost in a desert for what seemed like an eternity,
Famished and thirsty.
How grateful would you be if you were finally given a simple drink of water?
How grateful would you be if you were finally given a simple drink of water?
Imagine you were lost in a desert for what seemed like an eternity,
Famished and thirsty.
Imagine you were lost in a desert for what seemed like an eternity,
Famished and thirsty.
How would that gratitude feel?
Imagine you were entrenched in darkness for weeks and months on end.
Then one day,
You opened your eyes and saw the light.
How grateful would you be?
Would you drop to your knees every day to see the sun come up?
Imagine you never heard a bird chirp or the crash of the ocean.
You never felt the sun on your skin or the wind in your hair.
Imagine living in silence,
Then hearing music for the first time.
The sounds of words coming from a loved one speaking them to you.
How would that make you feel?
How would that make you feel?
You see,
Friends,
When cultivating gratitude,
This is the flavor of energy,
The state of being you want to tap into and become very,
Very familiar with.
Can you make contact with the essence of this state?
If you can do this often,
The way you experience life will unequivocally change,
And change dramatically.
Everything from the way you meditate,
To your ability to manifest your desires,
To how you drink your morning coffee will be transformed.
I will leave you here to linger with this,
And connect into this space,
And reflect on these prompts.
Thanks for listening today,
And sitting with me.
And I'd love to hear about your experience doing this practice in the comments.
Take care of yourself.
Much love.
Bye.
