Good evening everyone.
Welcome to this sleep meditation and help.
We're just going to take a moment and notice the sound beneath my voice.
That steady,
Low,
Gentle tone.
There's nothing you need to do with it.
Just allow it to be there.
Our noise is soft and even,
Like distant wind from far away,
Like a low hum that asks nothing of you.
Tonight,
It's simply there to hold edges of the room,
So your mind does not have to.
Bring your attention to your body.
Feel the weight of your head,
The weight of your shoulders,
The weight of your hands.
Let gravity do the work.
You've carried enough today.
Just let gravity pull you into the bed.
There's nothing left to solve,
Nothing left to fix,
Nothing left to improve.
Take one slow breath in through the nose,
And a long,
Unhurried exhale through the mouth.
And again,
Slowly inhale,
And a longer exhale.
Let the exhale be slightly longer than the inhale.
When the exhale lengthens,
The nervous system softens.
So once again,
Let's just take another slow inhale.
Be grateful for the breath,
And then gently let it leave you,
And let everything go.
Just letting go of everything,
Softening into this.
And again,
Long,
Slow exhalation,
Letting go of everything.
Now,
Allow your breath to find its own rhythm.
Soft and gentle.
Soft and gentle.
Notice how the brain noise does not change.
It does not rush you.
It does not expect anything.
Your thoughts may still be moving,
And that's alright.
You don't need to stop thinking in order to sleep.
Just let the thoughts drift into the background as the sound stays steady.
Imagine your mind resting inside the sound,
Like placing your head on a pillow.
If the body wants to adjust,
Let it adjust,
And then allow stillness to return.
Sleep is not something you force.
It's something you allow.
Just allow yourself this.
You deserve this.
You deserve this.
My voice will fade and the sound will continue to hold the space.
You don't need to listen for me.
You don't need to follow anything.
Simply rest.
Simply soften.
Simply drift.
Good night.
God bless.
Much love.
Yogi Phoenix.
