Hello,
My friends,
And welcome.
I'm Trey,
And I'm glad you're here.
For the next several minutes,
I'll be guiding you on an inner journey,
A journey to meet your Reiki guide and connect you with the energetic wisdom of Reiki,
The universal life force that flows through all living things.
In Reiki,
Guidance is never forceful.
It is gentle.
It honors your free will and always supports your greatest and highest good.
If you tend to drift into sleep during meditation,
You might choose to sit upright or lean comfortably against a wall so you can remain present.
And begin by noticing your breath.
Notice the quiet rhythm of your breathing.
Breathe in,
Breathe out.
As you listen,
Allow your body to soften,
Relax,
And let go.
Imagine that you are standing on a cobblestone street in a quaint little town somewhere in the world.
You don't need to define where,
Just sense the atmosphere.
Perhaps there are old stone buildings nearby or soft lantern light,
Or the faint sound of distant voices.
And off to the side,
You notice a stone staircase that leads downward.
There's no rush.
Begin to walk towards the staircase and start to descend downward.
Take the first step,
10.
With each step down,
Your body relaxes a little bit more,
9.
Breathe slowly,
7,
6.
Let your shoulders drop away from your ears,
5.
The muscles around your eyes and cheeks begin to soften,
4,
3.
Notice the heaviness settling into your bones,
2.
At the bottom of the staircase,
You find yourself standing inside a beautiful garden.
Pause here and notice what this garden feels like.
Look around,
What do you see?
Maybe you notice the scent of flowers and their colors,
Or the sound of water nearby,
Or a gentle breeze brushing against your skin.
Is this garden wild and natural or lovingly tended?
Allow the details to form in whatever way they wish.
In the very center of the garden stands a magnificent tree,
Ancient,
Steady,
Rooted.
Its trunk is wide and textured.
The branches stretch far into the sky.
Place your hands on the trunk of the tree.
Take one slow breath here,
Breathe in,
Breathe out.
Let the steadiness of the tree also steady you.
Feel yourself anchored and grounded,
Supported by the earth beneath you.
At the far end of the garden,
You notice a gate.
Curiosity arises and you begin to walk toward it,
And you step through.
On the other side of the garden gate is an open meadow,
A beautiful open meadow.
Perhaps the grasses shimmer in golden sunlight or sway in shades of green and yellow.
Notice the warmth of the air on your skin.
Notice the sky above you.
It might be bright blue with only a few soft white clouds,
Or any sky that makes you feel peaceful.
On the other side of the meadow,
In the distance,
Is a mountain,
And a path leads towards it.
And somehow,
Without effort,
You find yourself arriving at the base of the mountain.
On the edge of the meadow,
And a path winds gently upward into a forest.
You begin to walk along the path.
Notice the trees in this forest.
Perhaps they're tall pines that rise around you,
Or broad leafed trees.
Notice the texture beneath your feet,
Earth,
Rock,
And roots.
The sun filters light through the branches in soft golden beams.
Maybe you hear birds in the distance,
Or the rustle of leaves,
Or simply the quiet hum of life.
As you continue,
The path begins to climb,
Switching back and forth,
Gradually rising up the mountain.
And about halfway up,
You notice a clearing in the path that looks out.
Pause here.
Look back.
In the distance,
Below you,
You see the meadow,
And the garden,
And the ancient tree at its center.
Breathe out.
Notice how you feel now compared to when you began,
And when you're ready,
Continue upward.
As you climb,
You notice the trees become shorter,
The air becomes clearer,
And the landscape opens into wide sky.
Ahead of you in the distance,
You sense a presence.
There's no fear here,
Only calm familiarity.
As this presence approaches,
You might begin to notice how it appears,
Visually,
Energetically,
Or simply as a feeling.
In Reiki,
Guidance often feels warm,
And steady,
And compassionate.
You might notice the warmth in your own hands,
A softening in your heart,
A subtle current of energy flowing between you.
There's no wrong way for this to unfold.
You might understand this presence as your Reiki guide,
Your own inner wisdom,
Or your higher self.
Take a few moments here.
If you wish,
Sit down together,
Perhaps on a stone or a smooth rock,
And if you have any questions for your guide,
You may ask,
And then listen.
But listen not only with your thoughts,
But with your whole entire body.
Sometimes,
Reiki answers arrive as sensation,
Or a word,
Or a symbol,
A quiet knowing.
And if nothing vivid appears,
That's perfectly okay.
Connection with your Reiki guide does not depend on imagery.
Trust whatever arises,
And when you feel complete,
Offer gratitude.
And know that guidance does not disappear when this moment ends.
Your Reiki guide has always been with you,
And always will be.
And now begin the walk back down the mountain,
Steady and calm.
You pass the clearing.
You see the meadow and the ancient tree in the distance.
You go down through the forest,
To the base of the mountain,
Across the meadow,
Through the garden gate,
And once again,
You're back at the center of the garden.
Place your hands on the tree.
Take one slow,
Deep breath in.
On your exhale,
Feel yourself fully grounded,
Supported by the earth beneath you.
And when you're ready,
Return to the stone staircase.
And begin to climb back up.
One.
Two.
Three.
Six.
Seven.
Nine.
And bring your awareness back into your physical body.
Feel the surface beneath you.
Notice your hands and your feet.
And gently wiggle your fingers and toes.
Notice the sounds in the room around you.
Take one more deep breath in,
And when you're ready,
Open your eyes.
You might wish to journal anything that arose in this meditation,
Sensations,
Impressions,
Insights.
If this meditation supported you,
Your review helps it reach others who might be looking for something just like this.
Have a beautiful day,
My friends.
