Stacey was once a self-proclaimed workaholic in veterinary medicine, with a focus on Emergency Medicine, Surgery and Critical Care. Driven by the adrenaline and unpredictability of emergency veterinary medicine, she commonly worked 70-hour weeks. That fast-paced environment eventually led to a busy mind, chronic stress and many sleepless nights. It was through her own experiences with exhaustion and burnout that Stacey attended her first yoga class. She was hooked immediately. After experiencing the positive impact yoga had on her own life, Stacey completed her yoga teacher training in 2017 and has continued to pursue additional training, with a particular focus on using yoga to manage stress and reduce the risk of chronic fatigue and burnout. All of Stacey's classes are grounded in this experience and training. Drawing on her certifications in Yoga for Pelvic Floor, Thai Yoga Massage and Performance Stretch Therapy, Stacey incorporates anatomy-informed modifications and props to make her gentle, accessible classes suitable for all levels. Whether through movement, breathwork or meditation, her goal is to help students step away from the demands of everyday life, quiet the busy mind and leave feeling calmer, more grounded and connected to their bodies.
