In this shaking meditation, you’ll experience a full-body release that leaves you feeling lighter, grounded, and refreshed. Beginning with gentle movements, you’ll gradually increase the intensity, letting go of tension, stress, and any lingering energy that no longer serves you. This practice invites you to move freely and fully, allowing each shake to bring a sense of clarity and openness. By the end, you’ll feel revitalized, centered, and deeply connected to your body and breath.

Let's get shaking with this guided shaking meditation.

For the next seven to eight minutes,

We are going to move our body and get rid of any of that stagnant energy and shift any emotions that are going on and help yourself to release and feel better.

So come to stand comfortably with your feet about hip width apart.

And begin by closing your eyes and taking a few deep breaths.

In through the nose and out with a sigh.

And a couple more of these.

And through the nose and out with a sigh.

And one more.

Letting your body feel heavy and really rooted to the ground.

And with each breath,

Feel yourself really arriving in this moment,

Letting go of any worries,

Letting go of any thoughts,

Letting go of your entire day and allowing yourself to just be here now.

So let's start to warm our body up and begin with gentle shaking just in your hands.

You can flick the fingers,

Shake the hands,

Wriggle around the wrists,

Allow the movement to feel loose and light as if you're flicking off water.

Let the gentle shake begin to travel up through your arms,

Through the forearms,

Maybe a little loose wobble at the elbow,

Noticing any sensations in your body as you start this movement.

Keep that shaking and movement,

Gradually moving up your arms all the way to the shoulders.

Lifting and dropping the shoulders,

Rolling the shoulders,

Allowing your entire arm to be loose,

Floppy and really shaking it out.

Flicking the fingers,

Keep those arms moving.

And as you're doing this,

Keep those arms moving.

We're gonna start spreading the movement more,

Let the shaking spread to your torso.

Feel your entire torso moving around,

Up and down,

Round and round,

Whatever movement feels right for you in this moment.

Bring your hips into the movement now,

Get your hips shaking.

Move that beautiful bottom of yours,

Get your knees bending,

Allow a sense of rhythm to really build up here.

Breathe naturally and feel free to make any small spontaneous movements,

Maybe you have some sounds that are coming out,

Whatever you feel needs to flow here,

Just let it go.

You are safe in this space,

No one is watching you and you can just go for it.

Allow your body to really move any of this energy.

Shift,

Shift whatever's been going on for you and let that out.

Keep on shaking,

Feeling into the rhythm.

Tune into a steady rhythm here,

Moving through your entire body.

You might like to shake out your feet now.

Imagine shaking off any weight or pressure that you've been carrying,

Feel it just shaking off your body.

Feel yourself getting lighter with each movement.

And now it's time for a big,

Deep release,

So deepen the shaking,

Engaging your entire body from head to toe now.

Imagine that each shake is releasing any lingering stress,

Any lingering emotional blockages or energy that no longer serve you.

Get really deep in here,

Shake that entire body.

Go really,

Really deep.

Intensify the shaking as much as your body will allow you to do this.

Allow your body to be completely free.

You might feel like dancing or stomping or even making sounds.

Give yourself permission to release this now without any judgment.

Spend a few moments to focus on specific areas.

Shake out just your hands or just your arms to release tension from specific areas.

And then focusing on just your torso,

Letting your core relax completely.

And lastly,

Bringing your awareness to your legs and feet and allowing any heaviness to shake off into the ground.

You're doing an amazing job.

Keep going.

We're almost there.

Shake it out.

Making any sounds that feel right.

Maybe you're starting to slow down now.

Getting into a really nice rhythm.

In your own time,

Gradually beginning to slow the shaking.

Bringing your movements to a gentle sway.

Just keeping that nice,

Gentle sway going.

Taking a few deep breaths here.

And then keeping your eyes closed,

Standing still.

And letting your body absorb any shifts or releases.

Feel any new sensations in your body.

Perhaps there's a sense of lightness or openness or clarity.

Maybe your body is tingling throughout.

Just allow yourself this time to notice any sensations.

Slowing your breathing.

Coming back into your space,

Into the surroundings.

Opening your eyes.

When you're ready.

And taking another deep breath.

And exhale that fully.

This shaking meditation hopefully has enabled you to shake off any physical and emotional tension today.

And I hope that you're feeling refreshed,

Centered,

And more connected to your body.

And that you can enjoy the freedom and let this be a reminder that you can do this at any time,

Any day,

Anywhere.

And you can come back to this meditation to be guided if you need to.
