I know how overwhelming and lonely it can feel when we are spiraling into anxiety. In this calming and grounding meditation I reassure you of the truth of who you are and help you detach from everything happening around you. It feels unmanageable facing our anxiety alone but we are stronger together.

Hello sweet soul and welcome to this meditation.

Get comfortable,

Lying down,

Sitting,

Whatever you feel is best for you.

Take a deep breath in and a deep breath out.

If you haven't already,

Softly close your eyes and trust that you are cared for.

You are safe.

Embrace the darkness behind your eyelids.

Settle in to this moment and wind down.

You have been overcharged,

Overstimulated,

Stretched.

Stretched so far,

You don't know how you are going to complete your tasks.

You deserve this time to rest.

There is always more to do.

The list will never stop.

But what you can do is press pause and take care of you.

You deserve care.

You deserve peace.

You deserve love.

And you are doing this by joining me here today.

You should be so proud.

Anxiety happens when we are fast forwarding way too much.

We overstimulate ourselves with all of the thinking,

All of the doing.

And it creates a spiral.

A spiral within ourselves.

If things are always going to be added onto our list,

And there is always going to be more to do,

What is the rush?

Is there anything that is an emergency that if you did not do it right now,

Your life or your world would stop?

If nothing is that urgent,

It does not deserve this much of your attention and your energy.

Take a deep breath in.

And a deep breath out.

Where are your feet planted?

What kind of ground is underneath you?

Root there.

Bring yourself down here to this moment.

Instead of in all those thoughts up in the clouds.

The gravity pulls you down here because it wants you to be here.

It wants you grounded.

It wants you connected to the earth.

Roll your shoulders.

Roll your head and your neck.

Put your hand on your heart.

And your other hand on top of that hand.

And be here with this life force in your body.

This is what matters.

While we have been doing this meditation,

Someone left this earth to go to the next realm.

We only have so much time in our bodies,

In our life force.

With our heartbeats in this moment,

Value what's beneath your hands.

Cherish it.

Take a deep breath in and feel your chest rise.

And then exhale and feel your chest fall.

Another deep breath in and deep breath out.

And now put your hands on your belly and love your belly.

Do not judge your belly.

Give it all the love,

Support,

And care.

And breathe into this belly and feel it.

And breathe into this belly and feel it expand.

And then breathe out and feel it fall.

Thank your belly for all that it has done to nurture you.

Now put your hands on your lap or beside you and open your palms to the energy of the universe.

Allow good energy to come and calm you.

To reassure you that this moment,

And your presence here right now,

Is the only gift you need in this moment.

Thank your existence.

When we are in anxiety,

We are future tripping.

Rather,

It's a few seconds ahead,

Minutes,

Months,

Or even years.

We want to be in this moment.

Months or even years.

We worry.

We try to control.

And we have no control.

And that is when it takes faith that an energy of this universe loves us more than we could ever love ourselves.

And that all is well,

And all is taken care of,

And all will get done.

There is no perfect time,

And there is no perfect moment.

All that exists is right here,

Right now.

Take a deep breath in,

And a deep breath out.

Repeat these affirmations with me,

Either out loud or to yourself.

I am taken care of.

I am not in a rush.

I am not in a rush.

All is well.

Everything is already taken care of.

I am a leaf,

And I drift down the river of life.

I do not struggle.

I do not fight.

I accept my existence.

I accept my humanness.

I accept that I am only one person,

And I cannot do it all.

I take care of my well-being,

And I give myself grace.

I do not need to be perfect.

I need to be human.

I need to be perfect.

I need to be human.

I need to feel all of my feelings,

And stop spiraling in my thoughts.

They say the longest journey you will ever take is from your head to your heart.

Drop down to your heart.

Take a deep breath in.

My dear friend,

You are okay.

You are so brave,

And you are so strong.

You have overcome so much,

And it has built resilience.

Character,

Depth,

And strength.

All of your struggles were meant to mold you into who you are.

And you are a beautiful human being,

And you are taken care of.

The universe loves you.

Now,

Slowly bring yourself back to this moment.

Open your eyes.

Take in everything you see.

Choose five things in front of you that you are grateful for.

Take this peace.

And this grace,

With you throughout your day,

And impact someone else's life for the better.

I am so proud of you for taking care of you,

And you are doing great.

You are doing the best you can,

And that is good enough.

I send you all my love.

I love you.
