Welcome to our Yoga Nidra Guided Sleep Meditation session, designed to help you experience deep relaxation and enjoy a restful night's sleep. Yoga Nidra, often called "yogic sleep," is a powerful practice that induces profound relaxation while maintaining awareness, making it an ideal technique for preparing the body and mind for deep rest. In this guided meditation, you'll be gently led through a series of instructions to release tension from your body, calm your mind, and enter a state of complete relaxation. Starting from your toes and moving upward, you'll progressively relax each part of your body, allowing stress and tension to melt away. Throughout the session, you'll focus on your breath, syncing it with your movements and guiding your mind into a state of tranquility. Visualizations and affirmations will further deepen your relaxation, helping you to let go of any worries or thoughts that may be keeping you awake.

Hello and welcome to the art of relaxation.

This practice,

Known as conscious sleep,

Will help you to kindle your journey towards a deepened divine connection.

Let's prepare together,

Lie down comfortably on your back,

Have a pillow and a blanket to support your body and to keep you warm,

Then allow your legs to rest slightly apart and the feet falling naturally outward.

Place your arms by your side with your palms turned upward.

Now let your eyes gently close.

Open your face and release any tension.

Take a deep breath,

Letting yourself settle into the space of this moment.

Take another deep breath and another one and know that you're exactly where you're supposed to be.

Allow yourself to become aware of the sensations of being here now.

Feel the weight of your body against the earth,

Grounding you,

And mentally ask yourself gently,

How does it feel to be here now?

Allow yourself to simply listen.

What can you hear?

Listen to all the sounds and observe the silence that carries it.

Now allow yourself to feel what sensations arise in your body.

Observe the space in between the sensations arising and falling.

Become aware of what we can see,

What images or colors comes into your inner vision.

Become aware of the background.

Become aware of the images,

Patterns and colors dancing in the foreground.

And now holistically combine all the senses and fully experience how it feels to be here now.

To harmonize our tempo and our body,

We will do a practice known as sacred breathing.

Simply follow my count as I will guide us in to a deep and tranquil state.

Continue with this breathing pattern and with each breath feel yourself sinking deeper into relaxation,

Allowing the mind to become quiet and still.

Feel how this deep and rhythmic breathing harmonizes the body and mind.

Now imagine yourself in an endless desert.

Feel the warm sun on your skin.

The soft sand beneath you.

Breathe in the vastness of this landscape.

Feel the freedom and the solitude.

As you stand there,

A camel approaches.

It moves calmly and with grace.

And with deep wise eyes that seems to hold centuries of understanding.

The camel kneels next to you,

Inviting you to climb up on its back.

Together you set off through the endless dunes.

After some time,

You reach an oasis.

Shaded by a large ancient fig tree.

You dismount the camel,

Resting under the tree's embrace.

Feeling the coolness of the shade.

The camel remains close with a steady presence.

And here,

In the quiet of the oasis,

A gentle voice speaks from within.

This desert is where many souls wander,

Searching for a deeper purpose.

You have asked many questions,

But often not the ones that would lead you home.

The voice continues,

I have always loved you and always listened.

But have you truly listened to me?

You have often looked to me,

Only when you needed or desired.

I am eager to give,

Only when you are open to receive with humility.

The voice continues,

Ask not what I can do for you.

But rather ask,

What can you do for me?

Ask how to become a giver.

Ask how to make the corrections in your heart that will bring us closer.

You feel resistance in your heart.

You want to turn away.

But the voice encourages you to lay here with these questions.

You shy away from the wisdom of the voice and you travel once again through the desert.

Guided by stars at night and the sun by day.

Here in the desert,

You encounter other seekers.

You share wonderful adventures.

You make riches beyond comprehension.

Yet,

Something remains unfilled deep within you.

Finally,

After many long years,

You arrive back at the oasis.

Now,

Humbled by your journey,

You call out sincerely.

What can I do for you?

The soothing voice answers.

O child of light,

All I ask is that you remove the masks you wear.

Allow your true light to shine,

Illuminating your shadows with understanding and compassion.

Forgive yourself as I have forgiven you.

You are truly a divine being having a human experience.

Not merely a human being reaching for the divine.

Allow yourself to rest in this space of forgiveness and acceptance.

Allow your heart to absorb these words,

Letting their meaning deepen with each breath.

And feel in your hearts of hearts that your journey of reconnection has begun.

In time,

As you cultivate this inner connection,

You will receive gifts of insight,

Peace and abundance.

To return from the desert,

We will do 14 breaths together.

So wherever you are,

Exhale completely.

Inhale 14 belly rises.

Exhale 14 belly falls.

Inhale 13 belly rises.

Exhale 13 belly falls.

Inhale 12 belly rises.

Exhale 12 belly falls.

Inhale 11 belly rises.

Exhale 11 belly falls.

Inhale 10 belly rises.

Exhale 10 belly falls.

Inhale 9 belly rises.

Exhale 9 belly falls.

Inhale 8 belly rises.

Exhale 8 belly falls.

Inhale 7 belly rises.

Exhale 7 belly falls.

Inhale 6 belly rises.

Exhale 6 belly falls.

Inhale 5 belly rises.

Exhale 5 belly falls.

Inhale 4 belly rises.

Exhale 4 belly falls.

Inhale 3 belly rises.

Exhale 3 belly falls.

Inhale 2 belly rises.

Exhale 2 belly falls.

Inhale 1 belly rises.

Exhale 1 belly falls.

Slowly bring your awareness back to your body.

Feeling the earth beneath you and the space around you.

Gently wiggle your fingers and toes.

Whisper to yourself,

There is more to this realm than meets the eye.

I am here,

Open to the journey,

Trusting the divine.

Within and around me.

When you feel ready,

Take a deep breath and slowly open your eyes.

Your mind will still be here,

Waiting patiently.

And no one has taken it from you.

You are simply more whole.

More at peace.

And more aware of the worthiness within you.
