As we start this restful meditation,
Find a comfortable position that allows your body to feel supported and able to let go.
As you come into this position,
Softly allow your hands to rest by your sides.
Allow your feet to relax.
Allow your eyelids to close and gently inform your eyes that they are now allowed to rest and turn inward,
Connecting your senses with the internal environment.
As you connect with the internal sense of yourself,
Follow the rhythm of your breath,
If that's comfortable for you,
And let it bring you into further and deeper connection with your nervous system.
As the breath guides you and as you use your intention to let go of the day's tensions,
Stresses,
And thoughts,
Allow your mind to reconnect with the softness that exists within the body.
Beneath the hum of our day to day thoughts and the thinking and planning and doing,
There is a part of us that exists in a soft state of aware beingness.
As we connect with this higher self or witness,
Allow the sensation of being the witness to filter in through your whole body.
As you exist as the you that has always been you for this entire lifetime,
Start to notice how it feels.
There's a softness,
A kindness,
Compassion,
And gentleness that comes from existing as the witness.
And as you allow that gentleness to interact with the sensation that you normally call you,
The self that is doing things and busy and planning,
See if you can allow the sensation of the witness to slowly dissolve the sensation of being the human self in society.
As you allow your deeper true self to come forward,
Have the intention of allowing this self to support the physical body in its ability to sleep.
Allow the higher self to activate the pineal gland.
This little inside the brain secretes melatonin and helps us prepare for sleep and regulates our circadian rhythm.
So with gratitude,
Allow the higher self to clear,
Balance,
And harmonize the energies of the pineal gland with the rest of the physical body and the nervous system.
For the next few moments,
Softly allow this experience to occur while you rest and just allow it to flow through you without your needing to do anything.
Your intention is supported by your higher self and the energy healing that is coming through for you.
So simply allow yourself to open to receiving these healing energies.
And as your pineal energies activate throughout your brain,
Feel them coursing down into your body,
Helping your system to understand that it is time for sleep.
Allow your nervous system to come into a state of rest.
You can do this simply through your breath and your soft intention.
You can verbally say to your nervous system,
Nervous system,
It is safe to rest.
It is safe to let go of the day.
And as you feel your nervous system softening and letting go,
Gently guide your energies down through your feet,
Out your soles,
And into the earth.
Gently you are creating a network of roots that extend deeply and widely into the earth.
And in this way,
As you connect with the grounding energies of the earth,
Let your energetic and emotional system detoxify through these roots.
Release any energies,
Patterns,
Thoughts,
Blockages that no longer serve you.
And allow the earth to recycle them for you.
As the energies of the universe pour in through your crown chakra,
And fill the released spaces with a clear new pattern of energy for healing,
Balance,
And calmness.
From the hormones of the physical form,
To the energies of the emotional and spiritual bodies,
You have created clarity and healing that supports your ability to have a very peaceful and restful night's sleep.
