Gently allow your awareness to slide deeper into the sensations of your body.
Allow areas of tension and holding to come into your awareness.
It's common to feel a desire to release the tension,
To fight the tension,
Analyze it or wonder where it came from and remove it.
But in this meditation,
Allow yourself to cultivate a curiousness about the tension.
From this space of curiosity,
Playfulness and exploration,
Allow yourself to become an explorer of the information being shared by your body.
Choose one area that feels like it's holding the most tension.
And with your sense of curiosity,
Allow your awareness to just be open to receiving information and energy healing in this moment.
Connect with the area of tension and notice if you can feel information coming through to you.
It may come in the form of colors,
Sounds,
A knowingness.
And whatever story is being shown to you by your body,
Simply allow it to come forth at its own pace,
Its own rhythm,
Its own rate of unfolding.
And be curiously open to whatever naturally unfolds.
I will give you a minute or two to experience this before we move forward to the next area.
Gently allow your awareness to step back and become softly aware of how it feels now.
You may notice that it has opened,
Become lighter,
Softer,
And feel as though there is more,
More spaciousness within the area.
Take a moment to feel your body sensations and notice now if there are different areas of tension or holding that seem to be more prominent in your awareness.
If the same area still bothers you,
You can repeat this process there or you can choose a new area and softly,
Curiously in this new moment,
Allow the information to move forward into your awareness.
Open yourself to receiving education from your body and your nervous system as it reveals to you why it has a holding pattern.
Your soft connection with allowing creates space for the body to communicate with you.
And so take this opportunity to learn why there are holding patterns,
Not from the analytical mind,
But through your body sensations.
I will set aside two minutes now for you to explore these sensations and reconnect with you at the end of those two minutes.
Lightly return your awareness into the wholeness of you and notice if you feel different.
Often there is a sense of expansion,
Floating,
Also sometimes a sense of heaviness and groundedness.
Every piece of information is accurate,
It's just what your body needs and it's a point of learning for you to start to understand more and more how your body wants to express itself to you.
If you feel more areas of holding,
Feel free to repeat this process as many times as needed.
But if you already feel a sense of opening and release,
Allow your awareness to become more engaged in the room around you,
Noticing what sounds you hear,
Wiggling your toes and fingers,
And gradually allowing your awareness to move back into the external environment and allow your eyelids to open when you feel ready.
