Allow your body to come into a restful position.

Give the muscles of your neck,

Shoulders,

Scalp and the back of your head permission to softly melt.

There is no need to have the tension that they hold and for this moment they are allowed to completely let go.

As you close your eyelids and move your attention inward,

Allow yourself to cultivate a feeling of acceptance.

This meditation is focused on allowing.

We are allowing what is to just be.

When we create a mental resistance to what is,

This is when the things that we don't like tend to persist.

You will get a direct example of this as we walk through the meditation for your cold or flu symptoms.

There is an idea that,

In our resistance,

This is where we create suffering for ourselves.

Notice within you right now whether you can feel a little bit of a poor me kind of sensation.

If you can notice that,

Simply be with it.

And allow your mental focus to back away and soften.

As you move your consciousness further from this sensation,

You should notice that it is now given an opportunity to unwind itself.

If you notice that it feels stuck,

Soften your concentration even further.

It's often helpful to adopt the feeling of being in a relaxed,

Daydreamy state where you're just at the park and watching the clouds float by.

You're not trying to influence the clouds,

But just merely allowing them to do what clouds do.

So as you let your awareness go into the daydreamy mode,

Let your feeling of suffering to just do what that feeling does.

When you release your need to control it and fix it,

It naturally unwinds itself into balance.

Give yourself a moment to experience this as you just relax your awareness and consciousness.

As you start to notice this sensation of poor me releasing and reducing itself,

You may move your awareness into one of your physical symptoms.

It may be a sore throat,

A stuffy nose,

A feeling of congestion,

Whatever it is,

Rest your awareness there and also,

In the same way as you did with the sensation of suffering,

Allow your awareness to become very soft,

Daydreamy and gentle.

Cultivate within yourself a feeling of compassion for the symptoms.

Allow yourself to see it as simply a communication from your body that wishes to share something with you.

Allow your awareness to softly sit back and let yourself listen to the sensation as though it is a really important message that you are simply receiving.

You will do nothing but receive and accept and allow this message to come through for you.

And as we do energy healing,

Give yourself a few moments to allow this communication to take place.

As it transforms,

You may notice yourself creating tension or simply becoming aware of tensions that were not previously in your awareness.

With each layer you come to notice,

Also softly acknowledge it and let it unwind.

It is possible to unwind layers and layers all at once.

Continue to allow the unfolding to happen on its own.

You may notice that the quality of your symptoms may feel different,

So re-evaluate briefly how it feels now and repeat the process.

Acknowledge how you feel,

Compassionately soften your concentration,

Come into that daydreamy allowing clouds sensation and allow the sensations in your body to just float by.

Release your need to control it and release your resistance to what it is showing you.

Relax around the sensation,

You're not trying to fix it,

So don't try to relax it,

Relax the rest of you.

As your symptoms transform,

You may notice an opening that echoes beyond the location where you are experiencing your symptoms.

You may need to repeat this process a few times when you feel stuck in the middle of your cold and flu symptoms,

But as you allow each layer to unwind or several layers to unwind,

Your symptoms will improve at a much,

Much faster rate.

You may be surprised at how quickly you can heal yourself through your simple attention and awareness to the signals of your body.
