Welcome to this mini meditation on Centering.
Find a comfortable position and allow yourself to sink into the furniture where you're resting.
Shift your awareness into your body and allow yourself to experience the contact points where you are in connection with your furniture.
You may feel your legs resting against a chair,
Or your back against your bed.
Just allow yourself to experience these contact points for what they are.
They are places where your nervous system can detect that you are in contact with another surface.
Nothing more.
If the mind wants to build a story about the softness of your chair or the hardness of your pillow,
Let all of that just drop away.
In this one moment,
You are listening to this track and experiencing something supporting you.
Experience more deeply that contact point with your furniture and let that expand so that you are now experiencing the support of your furniture flowing into your body.
Allow the sensation of support to travel through all the nerves in your nervous system.
You don't need to know where they are,
But allow that support sensation to move upward into your legs,
Into your torso,
Into your front body and allow it to flow up your spinal cord so that the sensation of being supported,
Being in a place of rest,
Flows into your brain stem,
Which is in the back of your skull,
Where your neck meets your brain.
Let this part of your brain understand that you are in a safe environment and all that's happening right now is that you're listening to a track and listening to your nervous system as it experiences support.
Tell your brain,
I am supported,
I can feel the support flowing through my body.
And then let it go,
Let that sentiment echo from your brain stem into your midbrain,
Into your forebrain,
Behind your forehead and as it echoes through your whole brain,
It starts to rewire your nervous system.
Let the rewiring happen as you move back into experiencing the support from your furniture.
If you feel resistance to accepting the fact that you are being supported in this moment,
Allow yourself to experience the resistance first and accept that there's resistance.
This is not an uncommon experience,
But we can move it.
So if you move yourself into acceptance of the resistance,
Really,
Really softly,
It will unfold on its own.
And once you've experienced the resistance unfolding,
Return to experiencing deeply and fully the sensation of being supported unconditionally.
It's never-ending,
It's stable,
It's reliable and it requires no effort on your part.
You just need to reorient your awareness and your perception so that you are picking up on the fact that you are currently supported unconditionally.
Let the energy healing move this and everything through your system for the next couple minutes as you sink more deeply into the sensation of feeling supported.
Gently guide your awareness back into your physical form.
Take note of how you're feeling right now.
It's very common to experience a deepening of your wholeness where there is a more concrete connection within the physical form.
And a sensation of being okay and feeling more peace and more flow,
Which we may call feeling more centered.
As you move throughout the rest of your day and experience this feeling of being centered,
Notice if you speak from this place and experience the world and nature from this place,
Whether there's a deeper connection to everything and everyone,
And whether there's less resistance to things that normally bother you.
