Transcript

Welcome to this guided practice.

Begin by sitting or lying down in a comfortable position.

Allow your eyes to softly close.

It's time to rest now.

Put your feet up,

Physically or metaphorically.

Allow the muscles in your face to relax.

Your jaw to relax.

Your mind to relax.

Secret to tranquility is allowing things to be as they are.

Take a deep inhale through your nose and exhale out through your mouth,

Letting everything go.

Take another deep inhale through your nose and let go with a deep exhale out.

Feel the flow of air moving in and out.

In and out.

Everything is softening and slowing down.

This time is just to be.

Nothing else but be.

Allow the muscles in your face to soften.

Your temples,

Your jaw,

Everything is softening and slowing down.

Allow the muscles in your shoulders to soften.

The muscles in your back are softening.

Your abdomen and hips are relaxing.

The muscles in your legs are softening too.

They're becoming heavier and heavier against the surface below you.

In this moment you're free to simply be.

Let everything continue softening and slowing down.

Take another deep inhale through your nose and exhale out through your mouth.

Coming back to the breath.

Following the flow of the inhale and the flow of the exhale.

Let everything continue softening and slowing down.

As you allow your body and mind to rest,

To slow down,

To be.

As you rest in the stillness,

Give yourself some time to simply be.

Finally,

Take another deep inhale through your nose and slowly exhale out through your mouth.

As this session comes to an end,

Slowly begin to return to the room you're in.

Take as much time as you need.

You may wish to stretch or wiggle your toes.

When you feel ready,

Softly open your eyes.

Thank you for joining me.

Have a lovely rest of your day.
