Transcript

Today's session we are inviting peace into our lives.

We're allowing ourselves to feel peace.

We're inviting peace into our bodies and we're inviting peace into our day.

In this moment I invite you to find a comfortable position and to settle in.

If it's comfortable for you to do so close your eyes and allow your body to rest.

Let's take a slow breath in through the nose.

When you're ready exhale.

Let's take another slow breath in through the nose all the way to the top and when you're ready exhale and as you exhale allow your body to relax.

Allow your breathing to return to normal.

In this moment I invite you to think of the word peace.

See the word peace in your mind's eye.

Allow yourself for just a moment to feel what peace feels like for you.

Perhaps it brings up a memory,

Perhaps it's just a feeling,

Perhaps it's a color,

It's an image.

Whatever it is allow it to be with you in this moment.

Allow yourself to fully engage with your peace and what that means for you and what it feels like to you.

We'll sit for a few breaths and allow peace to be in our space.

Engage with it,

Allow yourself to feel it.

When you are ready take a slow breath in through the nose all the way to the top.

When you get to the top hold your breath for a count of three and exhale when you are ready.

We'll do one more breath in through the nose all the way to the top.

Hold it for the count of three and then exhale.

Bring yourself back to the room around you.

If it feels comfortable,

Bat your eyes open,

Wriggle your fingers,

Wriggle your toes.

Allow yourself to become familiar with your surroundings.

Let's do one last breath in together and exhale.

I invite you to come back to this meditation whenever you feel that you need a moment of peace or you feel that you need to invite peace into your day,

Into your life,

Into a certain situation or relationship.

I wish you a beautiful peaceful day.
