Drift into deep rest with this calming guided sleep meditation. You’ll begin your journey on the shore of a peaceful beach, feeling gentle waves wash over your body — soothing your mind, releasing stress, and relaxing your entire being. As the waves cleanse and calm you, a full body scan will guide you to release tension, pressure, and discomfort from every part of your body. This meditation helps you let go of the day, quiet the mind, and settle into a deep state of relaxation. As your body softens and your awareness turns inward, you’ll discover a natural sense of inner peace — the perfect state to fall asleep in. Let go, surrender, and allow yourself to be gently carried into restful, healing sleep.

Imagine yourself laying on the shore of a beautiful beach,

Close to the water,

So you can feel the waves gently crashing into your body.

The water is not cold,

Not uncomfortable.

It is the most soothing,

Healing,

Comfortable water you've ever felt.

And just allow this magical water to take away your worries,

Your fears,

The tension you might feel in your physical body.

Allow it to wash you clean,

As you listen to the waves of the ocean and you feel your breath slowly flowing in and flowing out of your body.

The water is healing you,

Purifying you.

Allow your breath to become deeper,

To become slower,

And feel yourself sinking deeper and deeper into relaxation.

The water relaxing your body and emptying the mind,

Preparing you for a deep,

Restful sleep.

Your breath becoming slower and slower.

Your body becoming more and more at ease.

Now,

Become aware of your head,

And feel your head,

And relax all of the muscles in your face,

Your forehead,

Your eyelids,

Your mouth,

Your jaw,

Completely relaxed.

Now,

Slowly move down to your neck and your shoulders.

Relax your neck and let your shoulders drop.

Slowly,

Completely relaxed.

Moving down to your arms,

Your hands,

And your fingers.

Relaxing them,

Feeling them sinking deeper and deeper.

Your chest,

Your upper back,

Your shoulder blades.

Relax them.

If you feel some pressure on your chest,

Then take a deep breath right into your heart.

Hold it,

And a big sigh out of the mouth,

Relaxing the chest,

Letting go of the pressure.

Moving down to your lower back and your belly.

Relaxing it.

Moving down to your legs,

Your knees,

All the way down to your feet and your toes.

Relax,

And just relax it completely.

Your whole physical body,

Completely relaxed.

Feel it.

Whenever you feel a thought coming up that is not aligned with what you desire,

Then just go back to your slow breath.

Feel it flowing in and flowing out,

Relaxing the body and the mind even more.

Stay conscious with the breath.

And as you feel your body relaxed and your mind still,

Can you sense this innate sense of peace,

That feeling of everything is good,

Nothing I have to do,

Nothing I have to become,

I can just rest here in peace.

This peace has always already been here.

Become more aware of it,

Trust it,

It is safe to feel at peace now.

Give yourself permission to completely relax and surrender into this peace.

And if your mind tries to become busy again,

Just remind it,

I can feel at peace now,

There is nothing I have to do now,

Nothing I have to fix,

I can just relax,

I can just go to sleep.
