This meditation is about starting the day with peace within yourself and sharing it with the world. By focusing on your breath and letting go of tension and stress, you can find inner peace and bring positivity into your day. You will take deep breaths, open your heart to love and happiness, and visualize yourself as a light in the world. Good morning my friend.

Thank you for joining me as we start the day together.

In this meditation we will welcome peace in ourselves and send peace to those around us and the world.

Finding your inner peace and starting the day grounded in a good space will shift what comes throughout the day.

Let's get started.

If you are comfortable,

Go ahead and close your eyes.

Your breathing should be natural.

Let your breath find its rhythm as you inhale and exhale.

When you notice your breath quickening upon awakening to this new day,

Slow it down.

Let's start this day slowly and peacefully.

Open yourself to this world and allow deep breaths in and out nice and slow.

As you breathe,

Imagine you are filling your belly and deepening into your body.

If your shoulders rise or become tense,

Place your awareness there and try to let go.

Tell yourself this is your time for self-care.

Take a deep breath in.

Hold for the count of four.

One,

Two,

Three,

And four.

And release the air.

One,

Two,

Three,

And four.

Continue breathing like this as we move through this exercise together.

Breathing in mindfully,

Which is the opportunity to be fully present.

Then exhaling your breath.

Keep connected to your breath and allow any thoughts or emotions to glide by easily with no attachments.

Watch them fade by as if they are clouds in the sky.

Breathing in,

You are alive and well in this moment.

Exhaling,

Breathing,

Filling your body and releasing tension.

Breathing in,

Knowing that being part of peace in the world is finding your peace within yourself.

Exhaling,

No judgment,

Acceptance of now and of what is.

Breathing in,

May every breath give you the peace you long for.

Then exhaling,

As you begin this morning,

Release the energy of tension and stress and any worries you may already have.

Breathing in,

Actually opens to more,

Not less.

Exhaling,

You release your breath,

Emptying your vessel.

Breathing in,

Opens your heart to love,

Peace,

And happiness that has been buried so deep within you for too long.

Then exhaling,

You feel your mind awaken and rest at the same time.

Breathing in,

You are choosing this moment to bring out your love,

Peace,

And happiness as you are called to be a light in the world.

Exhaling,

Focus on the feeling of your breath,

Readying yourself to share your love and light with all you encounter today.

Now that you are allowing your mind to open,

Inhale one last time together,

Knowing you are powerful,

Healthy,

And whole.

Exhaling into a new and beautiful day,

As you have opened your mind and heart.

Raise your hands in the air in front of you,

Palms out to the world,

And say the following aloud or within you,

I experience a sense of peace with every breath I take.

I let go of fear now and embrace peace within me.

I know the way of peace in times that feel overwhelming.

I send love and light to every child and adult searching for this peace now.

I am light.

I am loved.

Begin to return to the place you are in,

Gently coming back to this time,

And this moment on this good morning,

Knowing that this practice will and already has made positive changes within you.

If your eyes are closed,

Slowly open them.

Get ready to go forth for this day.

I wish you love and peace ahead,
