Welcome to Day 16 of 30 Days of Gratitude.
Today,
Gratitude moves from giving to receiving.
Let yourself soften and let yourself be held.
Close your eyes gently and take a deep breath in.
Release tension as you exhale.
Now bring to mind a moment when someone saw you,
Really saw you.
When someone showed up,
When they loved you,
Held space for you.
Let that memory return now.
Let it warm your chest.
Say this gently,
I am open to receive love with ease and joy.
Receiving isn't passive,
It's presence.
It's the ability to allow and to let your heart stay open.
Feel your shoulders relax.
Feel your chest expand with your next inhale.
Now visualize love entering you,
Like golden light flowing towards your heart,
Filling in every corner.
This love is freely offered and you're allowed to hold it.
Say it again,
I receive with joy and I allow myself to be loved.
Take a few slow breaths now.
Receiving.
Can you let yourself fully soften?
The only thing that's being asked of you right now is to let love in.
Now return to your breath.
Return to your open heart.
Return to the support that surrounds you.
You're worthy of the love you give.
