Take a deep breath in and slowly exhale.

Let your shoulders soften.

Let your whole body settle into stillness.

You've been carrying so much for so long,

But right now,

In this moment,

You don't have to carry anything at all.

Take another slow breath in.

Feel your body gently filling with fresh energy.

And exhale,

Letting go of the pressure,

The fatigue,

And the tension you've been holding alone.

Bring your awareness to your chest,

To the space around your heart.

Notice how it feels.

Tight,

Tired,

Heavy,

Or guarded.

Whatever you feel is okay.

Place a hand over your heart.

Feel your own warmth,

Your own presence,

Your own support.

You've spent so much time taking care of others.
