Overcoming uncertainty.
There's always a time,
A moment in our lives when we feel uncertain about where we are,
What we're supposed to be doing,
Who we're supposed to meet,
Where we're supposed to go.
We might begin to question who we are,
Who we've been,
And who we're meant to be.
We might look in the past of our lives and begin to question if it was in alignment with your true purpose.
All of these questions can stir up uncertainty,
Anxiety,
Ungrounded energy.
And all of a sudden,
You may find yourself being spun around by your mind,
With all of these thoughts and questionings and doubts,
And none of them serve you.
So you begin to outsource guidance so you can find security.
You might talk to people,
Say what's going on,
Get their input,
Watch this video,
Read this book.
And yet,
Only you can truly know what is best and in most alignment for yourself.
And we can show these external tools or people that so kindly wish to support us,
We can show them appreciation and gratitude,
And we can pick up little gems that they might drop.
But only we can truly know what is best for us.
Take a deep breath and tune into your heart,
To your body.
Because it's in your heart that knows the answers that you seek.
And even if no specific words or feelings or sensations come to you,
That in itself is an answer,
An answer to deepen your stillness,
To surrender to the moment,
To surrender what is.
Taking another deep inhale,
The mind loves to take us away from the wisdom that lives in our heart.
The mind loves to think and overanalyze because it believes that that is where the answer lies.
And yet,
We continue to fall into the cycles of rumination without any solution.
How about trying something different?
How about listening to your body?
What does it feel like to touch your feet to the ground?
And what does it feel like to listen to your feet?
What does it feel like to listen to your tummy?
And what does it feel like to really listen to the stillness of your heart?
We don't need to have it all figured out right now.
Take a deep breath.
Bring yourself back to your body as many times as you need to.
I would like for you to set an intention for today,
For you to move through the day with your feet sturdy and secure on the ground,
Walking with your attention in your body instead of your head,
Reminding yourself that you don't need to have it all figured out right now.
Who says you really need to anyway,
Besides your mind,
The mind that is causing you the stress and worry?
And any time that those doubts and uncertainty arise again,
How about giving it to love?
Giving it to love every single time.
Saying hello doubt,
I see you and now I give you up to love,
For love to take care of you.
You are not my job to deal with,
That is for love to do.
Only love can take care of our worry,
Of our doubt and insecurities.
So let it do so,
Because whether you believe it or know it or not,
You are already held by love and have always been held.
So offer up your distress now,
Imagine that the hands of love are reaching out,
Waiting for you to give it your stress.
Feel the freedom that comes with this surrendered action,
With this intention and desire to offer this up to something so big,
So precious and so divine.
Can you feel the lightness in your body now?
Can you feel a freer mind?
Taking one last deep breath to close off this meditation,
I thank you very,
Very much for your presence.
Have a beautiful day.
