Find a position.
Where your body feels held.
Whether you're sitting or lying down,
Let the weight of you release into whatever is beneath you.
Let gravity do its work.
You don't have to hold yourself up right now.
Take a deep breath in through your nose.
And a long slow exhale out through your mouth.
Again.
Breathe in.
And let go.
One more time Breathe in.
And as you exhale,
Feel yourself arrive.
Here.
Now.
In your body.
You are.
A day play.
Empathetic soul.
You are a healer.
Hold it.
Of nature.
You feel things deeply.
You give generously.
You show up for others in ways that cost you more than most people will ever know.
And somewhere along the way.
In all the giving.
You may have forgotten that you live here too.
And in this body,
And in this life,
And in this aura,
Is luminous,
Living field of energy that extends about four feet in every direction around you.
Right now,
I want you to feel that feel.
Not see it.
Feel it.
Like a wall.
A presence.
The space that is undeniably,
Completely yours.
Now,
Imagine standing in a garden.
Not a perfect garden,
A real one.
With rich dark soil and the smell of rain and something ancient growing in the quiet.
And in this garden,
You are the centre.
Ahead of you.
Imagine a single rose appearing from the earth.
Not a cut flower,
A living rose,
With a long stem,
Deep roots pressing into the soil.
And thorns that catch the light.
This row stands in front of you,
At the edge of your aura,
About four feet ahead.
Watch it bloom.
This rose doesn't ask permission to take up space.
It doesn't apologize for its thorns.
It simply is beautiful and rooted.
This rose is your boundary,
Facing the world ahead.
Now,
To your left,
Another rose.
Rising from the earth beside you.
Strong and steady.
This rose guards the space where you receive.
Where people enter energy sideways.
With their needs,
Their noise,
Their urgency.
This rose says,
I see you and I choose what I let in.
Feel it standing there.
Rooted.
Unwavering To your right,
A third rose appears.
This one blooms on the side where you give,
Where your generosity flows out into the world.
This rose doesn't stop the giving,
It tends it.
It reminds you that you give from overflow,
Not from depletion.
That your yes means something because your no is real.
Feel this rose,
Let it hold the truth in your field.
And now.
Behind you.
A fourth rose rising up from the earth at your back.
This one is the one most people forget.
This rose guards what you cannot see.
The places where your energy quietly leaks out.
Three old wings.
Old agreements.
Old versions of yourself.
That you've already outgrown.
This rose stands at your back and says,
Nothing takes from you without you knowing.
Feel all four phrases now.
In the front of you.
To your left.
To your right.
Behind you.
Or roses.
For living rooted,
Thorned,
Beautiful boundaries.
You are held in a garden.
Of your own making.
Breathe into this.
Feel what it's like to be in your body and protected.
To be open and held.
To be generous and whole.
This is not armour.
This is not walls.
This is a garden.
And gardens are tended with love,
Not fear.
As Rumi once wrote,
Your task is not to seek for love.
But merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.
Your roses are not barriers to love.
They are the conditions in which love can actually grow.
In you,
Through you and around you.
Wiggle your fingers Feel your feet on the ground.
Take one final breath in.
And exhale slowly and completely.
Know that these roses remain.
You can return to this garden any time.
You need to feel yourself again.
Rooted.
Protected.
Open and hold,
You are allowed to take up space.
You are allowed to say no.
You are allowed to bloom.
Thank you so much for spending this time with me today.
May your day be filled with blessings.
Take care.
