Welcome to this guided meditation for healing and recovery.

Start by finding yourself a nice comfortable position,

However that looks for you.

Just ensure that you'll be comfortable and relaxed.

And then when you feel ready,

Gently close your eyes.

I invite you now to take three nice deep cleansing breaths in your own time and at your own pace.

Inhale deeply through your nose and exhale slowly through your mouth.

This will allow you to fully arrive in this moment in the here and now.

Then once you've completed that cycle of breaths,

Allow yourself to settle into your natural rhythm of breath.

Don't try and change it.

Just notice the gentle rise and fall of your chest.

Notice any other movements that your body takes.

If your mind is beginning to wander,

Just bring your attention back to your breath.

And even notice where you are in that cycle of breath.

Now bring your awareness to your body.

Just allow your body to fully relax.

And just start with your toes and then consciously relax each part of your body.

Moving slowly up through your legs,

Right the way up to your neck and jaw and even the little muscles around your eyes.

Just feel your body becoming more at ease with each breath and sinking deeper into relaxation.

Now imagine a warm,

Healing,

White light surrounding you.

Picture this brilliant white light gently enveloping your entire body,

From the top of your head to the tips of your toes.

Bask in this white,

Comforting light.

And as you inhale,

Feel this healing light entering your body,

Filling every single cell with warmth and vitality.

And as you exhale,

Release any pain,

Illness,

Negativity,

Energy blocks.

Release it and allow it to dissolve into the light.

Beautiful,

Warm,

White light.

So comforting.

Now visualise this healing light focusing on any areas of your body that need some extra attention.

And see these areas being bathed in the light,

Restoring them to perfect health and harmony.

Imagine the cells in your body regenerating and healing,

Working together to bring you back to a state of balance and wellbeing.

Notice that area being bathed in the beautiful white light,

Brighter than ever.

Cleansing,

Clearing and rejuvenating.

Then repeat the following affirmation silently or out loud.

I am healing with every breath I take.

My body is strong,

Healthy and resilient.

I am surrounded by healing,

Energy and love.

I trust in my body's ability to heal and recover.

And now just take a nice,

Beautiful,

Deep breath in.

And release.

And just take a moment to say thank you to yourself and to this white healing light.

Show gratitude for yourself and that you have the power to heal within.

Say thank you and smile as you say it.

Say thank you.

And now just take another nice,

Long,

Deep breath in.

And release.

When you feel ready,

Gently begin to wiggle your fingers and your toes.

And then slowly open your eyes to the room around you.

Just take a moment and notice how you feel.

And carry this sense of healing and recovery as you go about your day.
