This grounding meditation guides listeners into a steady, rooted state using imagery of the earth and deep forest stillness. Slow, intentional breathing helps release tension and build inner stability. The practice encourages listeners to feel supported and held, returning to their day with clarity and calm. It is especially helpful before stepping into responsibilities that require presence and steadiness.

Welcome,

I'm Michelle.

This is a short grounding practice.

It's designed to steady you before a day in the classroom.

Sit or stand in a comfortable position.

Soften your shoulders.

And just let your breath settle into a gentle rhythm.

Imagine your feet connecting with the earth beneath you,

No matter where you are.

Visualize soft roots growing downward,

Branching,

Reaching,

Finding steadiness deep in the soil.

With each inhale,

Draw in the quiet strength of these roots.

With each exhale,

Release any tension your body is holding.

Inhale,

Strength.

Inhale,

Exhale,

Release.

Now feel how supported you are,

Held by the earth,

Grounded by your breath.

Now bring your hand to your heart and feel the warmth there.

Feel your own presence.

Silently repeat,

I am grounded.

I am steady.

I enter this day with calm.

And take one final deep breath.

Letting those roots hold you steady,

As you move into your day,

Clarity and ease.

Thank you for your practice.
