Hello and welcome,
My name is Annabelle and in today's meditation it's specifically for those going through heartbreak.
I want you to get comfortable,
Lay down,
Lean on some cushions,
Wrap yourself up in a blanket,
Get cozy,
Do whatever you need to so that you can feel safe,
Warm and secure.
When you're ready,
Closing your eyes,
Placing your hands on your body,
On your chest if it feels comfortable,
And today we're not going to try and avoid the pain.
When we go through heartbreak it isn't just mental,
There is a physical aspect to it as well.
Allowing yourself this safe,
Supported moment to feel the grief,
To feel the loss,
Knowing that you're guided,
That you are supported.
I have got you,
So taking a deep breath in through your nose,
Breathing into your heart and exhaling out through your mouth.
Having a verbal sign when you're exhaling and breathing in through your nose,
Feeling your heart space with life again and sighing out.
One more time,
Breathing in deeply,
Filling the space with warmth,
With love for yourself and for your future and exhaling,
Allowing whatever needs to be released to come out.
Today you have done enough,
You are enough.
I want you to think back to a time when you were most hopeful in the relationship,
Where you were open,
Where you were excited about plans with the person.
Thinking back to that memory and breathing into your heart space again,
In through your nose and out through your mouth.
Staying with this memory,
Finding love for that time,
Because the relationship wasn't all bad,
Although ending it was the right decision,
Because it's going to allow you to have a more free,
More joyful,
More purposeful life than you ever thought possible.
Now I want you to remember a moment where things weren't going well,
Maybe things ended on good terms or bad,
But whatever it is,
Allowing a time where you knew it was over to come to mind.
Sitting with that pain and breathing deeply into your heart space,
In and out,
Allowing whatever needs to come out on your exhale to come out.
It's safe to feel,
All you need to do is breathe.
And one final deep breath here.
Now I want you to remember a time before you were in this relationship,
When you were single,
When you were safe,
When you were enjoying your life without this partner.
And breathing in through your nose,
Breathing deep into your heart and exhaling through your mouth.
Again,
Breathing deeply and exhaling.
One final time.
And now I want you to think of your future.
Maybe it's a small moment that you're excited for.
Maybe there's huge change that you see yourself doing.
But I want you to think of your future with an excitement,
With a joy that you get to experience.
Start to think of where you are,
Who you're going to be with,
Or whether you're alone and happily alone.
And then start to think of exactly what you're going to do.
Imagine the temperature,
What you're wearing.
If you're by the seaside,
Feeling the sand in your toes and the salt in the air.
Really digging deep into all five of your senses.
And then taking a deep breath into your heart space.
And exhale.
Breathing deeply.
And exhale.
And now the deepest breath that you've taken all day.
And exhale.
And now coming back to your body.
Starting to move your fingers and your toes.
Allowing your breath to return to normal.
You have started to feel,
You've started to heal.
Now I want you to start taking action.
Remembering that a breakup is one of the most transformational times.
Everything in your life has already changed.
The routines,
The habits.
You're already uncomfortable.
To a certain degree at least.
So use this for the best good.
Use this for your best good.
And start to work towards what your future self wants.
Who you know you're meant to be.
Go take aligned,
Inspired action.
You don't need to have it all together.
You just need to start.
And today is your day.
Remember you can always come back to your breath.
On your exhale releasing anything that needs to come out.
Knowing that you are incredible.
That you are loved.
That anything is possible.
Now go get them.
I hope you have an amazing day.
