Hello and welcome.
Today's meditation and healing is called the Inner Tide.
This is a practice of allowing.
Allowing emotions,
Sensations and energy to move naturally without force and without resistance.
Just as the ocean rises and falls there is a gentle tide within you that knows exactly when to move,
When to pause and when to rest.
You do not need to manage it.
You do not need to control it.
You simply allow the tide to flow in and to flow out.
I invite you to find a quiet place where you won't be interrupted for the next 10 to 15 minutes.
This time is for you.
Throughout this meditation I'll be asking for consent to guide you on this journey.
Everything here is with consent.
If at any moment you do not consent or you do not wish for the energy to enter your field,
That's okay.
The energy will simply move around you.
This is your body,
Your life and you get to choose whether you want these changes or not.
So if you consent,
You can simply nod your head or you can say yes out loud.
Good,
Gently close your eyes and take a slow intentional breath all the way in.
Good and then exhale all the way out.
Two,
Three,
Good.
Again breathing all the way in and all the way out.
That's it.
Allow your breath to settle into a natural and easy rhythm.
In two,
Three,
Out two,
Three.
There's nothing you need to fix,
Nothing you need to change,
Nowhere else you need to be,
Just breathing.
With each inhale feel yourself arriving into your body.
That's it,
Landing in there and with each exhale feel yourself softening into the moment.
Good,
Let your shoulders relax,
Soften your jaw,
Allow your belly to be loose and supported.
Bring your awareness to the sensation of movement within your body,
That subtle rise and fall of your breath,
The gentle rhythm of life moving through you and let's create a beautiful place in your mind,
A place of stillness and calm.
This place resides in the garden of your heart.
Let's go there now.
I want you to find yourself within the beautiful emerald green garden.
It's breathtakingly beautiful,
The way the green glistens in the sunlight.
Stand and take a big deep breath in.
How amazing does that feel?
And to your right I want you to see a refreshing and calm flowing body of water.
It's not rushing and it's not still,
It's just moving steadily and naturally.
This is your inner tide.
It ebbs and flows with perfect timing.
It carries feelings,
Sensations and energy.
Never holding too much,
Never forcing release.
I want you to come and sit by the water's edge in the soft soft green grass and put your feet in the water.
It's cool but calming.
I want you to bring your awareness to this inner tide now.
Watch it,
Feel it.
Notice where you feel movement in your body.
Perhaps it might be your chest,
Your belly or your lower back.
Or it simply might be a sense of gentle flow.
There is no right place.
Whatever you notice is enough.
As you breathe in,
Feel the tide gently rise.
As you breathe out,
Feel it soften and recede.
Nothing is being pushed,
Nothing is being pulled.
The tide knows what it's doing.
This is the tides job.
To take all the things you no longer need or wish to hold on to and gently remove them from your being.
Breathe in,
Watch it rise.
And breathe out,
Watch it recede.
That's it.
In and out.
Good.
Watch that flow.
If there are emotions or sensations that surface,
I want you to lean down and place them in the water.
With love.
Allow them to move with the water.
Breathe in,
The water rises.
Breathe out,
The water recedes.
Good.
These emotions or feelings or sensations that rise to the surface,
They do not need your attention or analysis.
Simply let them go as part of the flow.
Put them into the water and silently say to yourself,
I allow the movement.
I trust the rhythm and I am safe within the flow.
Good.
Let these words settle into your body.
Feel how the inner tide supports balance.
It's never overwhelming.
It's never stagnant.
Just enough movement to keep you aligned,
Clear and steady.
You do not need to decide what stays or what goes.
The tide handles this effortlessly.
It knows exactly what to do.
Trust it.
You are safe to feel.
You are safe to soften.
You are safe to let life move through you.
Rest here for a few moments,
Allowing your nervous system to synchronize with this gentle rhythm.
Let your body remember what natural flow feels like.
In and out.
Good.
Let's begin to gently bring your awareness back to your breath.
Noticing that breath in and your breath out.
Notice your body,
The space around you,
The surface beneath you.
Gently wiggle your fingers and your toes.
Inviting awareness back into the present moment.
When you feel ready,
I want you to slowly open your eyes and carry this sense of gentle flow and movement with you.
Knowing that your inner tide is always flowing,
Always supporting you,
Always restoring balance.
Say to yourself,
The tide within me moves in perfect rhythm.
I trust its flow.
I am safe within it.
That's it.
One last final deep breath in,
Exhaling all the way out.
You are balanced.
You are supported.
You are in flow.
Well done.
