Hello and welcome.
I am Seva.
And today we will be reflecting.
On energy.
Your energy.
So take a moment to find a comfortable position.
Allowing your body to settle.
Perhaps you want to sit down or lay down.
Or perhaps you want to keep on moving,
Go for a walk.
And if you are laying down or sitting down.
Allow your hands to rest comfortably.
And if it feels right for you,
Gently close your eyes or keep a soft gaze.
And then take a slow breath in and out.
And one more time,
Inhale and exhale.
Allowing yourself to arrive in this space,
In this moment.
And then arriving also in your energy.
Beginning by noticing your breath.
Noticing the movements of the body as you breathe in and out.
Without trying to change anything.
Just observing.
Bringing your awareness to the energy within you.
Without having to define it.
Or even understand it.
Simply noticing.
How does your energy feel today?
Perhaps you feel energized.
Or tired.
Perhaps calm or restless.
Maybe your energy is light.
Or maybe it feels heavy.
Whatever you notice,
Just allow it.
To be exactly as it is.
Without any judgment.
There is nothing to fix.
Just noticing.
And now asking yourself the question gently.
Where is your energy going?
Just bring to mind your everyday life,
Your work,
Your responsibilities,
Your thoughts,
Your relationships.
Your habits.
And the things you do each day.
And ask yourself.
Where am I investing my energy?
And just noticing where your attention naturally tends to go.
What is occupying your thoughts?
What takes your time.
Or do you repeatedly turn to?
Or return to.
Perhaps there are people.
Who receive a lot of your energy.
Perhaps there are situations.
Responsibilities.
Projects.
Worries.
Or things you genuinely love.
Just observe without judgment.
Without taking a decision that something is good or bad,
Just notice where your energy is flowing.
And how is it serving you?
Asking yourselves that question.
How is the way I am investing my energy serving me?
Which parts of your life leave you feeling nourished.
Which activities give something back to you.
Which conversations leave you feeling connected?
And which experiences make you feel alive?
And then noticing the other side.
What leaves you feeling depleted?
What repeatedly takes more than it gives?
Again.
No judgement.
Simply becoming aware.
Resting in that awareness.
Taking a slow breath in and out.
And asking the question.
What would I like to give more energy to in my daily life?
Turning your attention.
To what you would like to cultivate.
Perhaps it is your health.
Your relationships.
Your work.
Your dreams.
Your family.
Your creativity.
Perhaps it is movement.
Or rest.
Joy.
Perhaps it is stillness.
Perhaps it is nature.
Maybe do something very simple,
More time for yourself.
Or presence.
Or connection.
More laughter.
More time doing something.
That makes your heart feel lighter.
Allow something to come to you.
You don't have to make a plan.
Just notice what feels important.
And imagine gently directing a little more of your energy.
Towards what is coming up for you.
Without foreseeing.
Feeling the ground beneath you.
Noticing.
The space around you.
Directing.
Imagining.
Your energy.
Perhaps asking a final question,
If I could choose where my energy goes today.
Where would I place it?
Allowing for the answer to come naturally to you.
Without any judgment or pressure,
Just listening.
Listening.
Gathering your energy.
Observing.
Taking stock.
Of what is taking away from your energy.
And where.
You want to put your energy into more.
Gathering.
Your energy.
Breathing in and out.
Imagining how you gather your energy back to yourself.
Imagine how you receive energy.
As you breathe in.
And as you breathe out.
Release.
What is no longer serving you.
Breathing in and out one more time,
Imagining.
Your energy becoming a little more intentional.
Or protectants.
More available for the things.
That truly matter to you.
Without any judgment,
Without any pushing.
Simply choosing.
Breathing in and out.
And remembering.
Your energy is precious.
Where you place your attention matters.
Where you place your time matters.
And you don't have to give your energy to everything that asks for it.
You can pause.
You can notice.
And you can choose.
Carry this awareness with you.
Notice where your energy goes.
Notice what nourishes you.
Notice what drains you.
And without judgement,
Gently choose where you want to place your energy.
Coming back into the present moment if your eyes were closed.
Noticing the surroundings around you.
Returning your awareness to the right here,
Right now.
Moving your fingers and toes.
And when you're ready.
If your eyes were closed.
You can gently open them.
Your energy is yours.
Choose where you give it.
Choose what you nurture.
Choose what you grow.
Thank you.
For being together.
And reflecting.
On your energy.
Namaste.
