Hello and welcome.
I'm Seva.
And I will guide you for the next few minutes through a little relaxation,
Taking a break.
And connect back to yourselves.
So whenever you're ready.
I invite you to find a comfortable position.
For yourself,
Whether it is laying down,
Seated,
Or perhaps remaining in movement,
Standing.
Deciding whether to keep your eyes open or closed or keeping a soft gaze.
Accepting whatever noise may be happening around you.
Just be here,
Right here,
Right now,
In this present moment.
Beginning to inhale and exhale.
Through the nose if that's available to you right now,
Or through the mouth.
Just taking a moment to settle and arrive.
And once you have done that Let's continue with the breath.
This time consciously.
Expanding the belly on the inhale.
And moving the breath all the way in.
Up.
Through the ribcage.
And going further up to the chest area.
And on the exhale bringing it down from the chest through the ribcage all the way down to the belly,
Contracting the belly.
Repeating this exercise a few times on your own rhythm.
Inhaling,
Creating that expansion in the belly,
Bringing the breath further up through the ribcage,
Opening the ribcage and all the way up to the chest,
Creating space in the chest.
And then exhaling,
Creating that contraction all the way from the chest through the ribcage and down to the belly.
Really tucking the navel in.
A few more times on your own rhythm,
Inhaling and exhaling.
And continuing with the breath.
I invite you.
Have a little reflection.
In our busy schedules,
We often struggle with time.
We don't have enough time in the day.
So ask yourself just silently that question,
How can time serve me better?
How can time serve me better?
Allowing for anything that may come up as an answer,
Whether it's a thought,
An image,
A feeling,
An emotion.
Welcoming it.
Observing it.
Without any judgement.
Just being aware of it.
And if nothing comes up with an answer.
Just sitting with that question.
And accepting that as well.
Continuing the flow of the breath.
For a couple of more moments.
And gently letting go of the question and any answers they may or may not have come to you Just continuing to breathe.
Just simply inhaling and exhaling.
Nothing else to do.
Now beginning to bring some movement.
If you were laying down or seated.
Wiggling your fingers and toes.
Taking a nice stretch if you feel like it.
And if your eyes were closed,
Blinking them gently open.
And thanking yourself.
For taking a few moments.
To connect back,
To breathe.
To reflect.
And if any thoughts come up after this relaxing moment,
I invite you to write them down.
Make a little journal for yourself.
And I thank you very much for being together.
Wishing you a wonderful rest of your day,
Evening,
Morning.
Whatever it is.
Namaste.
