This is a quick nervous system breathing technique to calm the system wherever you are. Can be used in bed, at work, on the toilet or at the bus stop. Nobody will notice but you and your system. Welcome to your mini break.

Wherever you are,

Feel your feet on the ground and notice if one foot feels heavier than the other.

Bring awareness to your breath and then put your hands together or place them anywhere else on your body and with every inhale you squeeze gently and with the exhale you let go.

Inhale squeezing gently and exhale letting go.

Feel free to place your hands anywhere else on your body or keep them the way they are.

Continue inhaling squeezing and exhaling letting go.

Your next exhalation,

Gently let go of your hands,

Feel your feet on the ground,

Have a gentle rest of your day.
