Welcome to the Somatic Healing Meditation.

I am so glad you joined me.

This practice will guide you into deep presence with your body,

Allowing you to gently explore physical sensations,

Emotions,

And energy that may be held within.

Somatic healing means tuning into the body's wisdom without judgment and creating space for release,

Integration,

And renewal.

You don't need to fix or change anything.

Simply be with what is,

Moment by moment.

Begin by finding a comfortable seated or lying position.

Let your eyes gently close or soften your gaze.

Take a deep breath in through your nose and sigh it out of the mouth.

Once more,

Inhale deeply and exhale completely.

Repeat these deep breaths a few more times.

Allow your body to begin settling into the mat beneath you.

Bring your attention to the points where your body touches the ground.

Feel the support beneath you.

Feel gravity holding you.

Begin to scan your body slowly from your head down to your toes.

Notice what's there,

Tightness,

Warmth,

Tingling,

Numbness or openness.

There's no need to analyze,

Just witness.

Pause with each area where you sense tension or emotion.

Are you holding tightness in your jaw,

Your shoulders,

Fingers?

Is there tightness in your abdomen or hips?

Breathe into that space.

On the inhale,

Invite soft awareness.

On the exhale,

Imagine that tension gently dissolving or flowing downward like water.

Now,

Bring your hand to your heart or belly,

Whichever feels more right to you.

Feel the rise and fall of your breath.

Let your breath lead the way.

Each inhale,

Expansion.

Each exhale,

Release.

Let your breath touch places inside that might be holding pain,

Grief or even joy.

If an emotion arises,

See if you can locate it in the body.

Where does it live?

What does it feel like?

Sharp,

Heavy,

Tight,

Hot or cool?

Breathe there.

Let it be seen.

Let it move in its own time.

If you feel drawn to,

Gently sway,

Stretch or rock your body,

Trusting your body's impulses.

Sometimes healing needs motion.

You might roll your shoulders,

Wiggle your fingers or shift your hips.

Allow energy to move softly and naturally or simply lie here in stillness,

Listening to your body.

Feel your feet.

Feel the weight of them.

Imagine roots growing from the soles of your feet.

These roots travel down through the many healing layers of Mother Earth until they reach her beautiful glowing core.

You attach your roots to the core in whatever way feels right to you.

When your roots are firmly attached,

The light from the core travels up through your roots until it reaches you.

This light encompasses your whole body,

Filling in cracks or breaks,

Healing any wounds seen or unseen until you are glowing with this beautiful sparkling light.

With each breath,

Feel more anchored,

Grounded and safe,

More whole.

Silently repeat,

I trust my body.

I honor its wisdom.

I am safe to feel.

I am healing.

I trust my body.

I honor its wisdom.

I am safe to feel.

I am healing.

Breathe those words in.

Let them settle in your cells.

Ready,

Begin to slowly return to the room.

Wiggle your fingers and toes.

Take a deep nourishing breath and gently open your eyes.

Thank you for showing up for yourself today.

Healing is not about doing.

It's about allowing.

Carry this presence and softness with you as you move throughout the rest of your day.

Thank you so much for joining me.

Namaste.
