Hi everybody and welcome.

I am doing an EFT tapping session that focuses on embracing aging.

I'm Krystal.

I am an EFT tapping coach and meditation teacher on Insight Timer.

Welcome to this session.

EFT tapping or emotional freedom technique is a therapeutic technique that combines the elements of traditional Chinese medicine,

Psychology,

And tapping on specific points of the body to address emotional and physical issues.

The premise behind EFT tapping is that emotional distress and negative emotions are caused by disruptions in the body's energy system.

By tapping on specific meridian points while focusing on the issue at hand,

EFT tapping aims to restore the balance to the body's energy system and alleviate emotional and physical symptoms.

So we will use the karate chop weight,

The eyebrow,

Side of the eye,

Under the eye,

Under the nose,

Under the lip,

Collarbone,

Under the arm which is about four inches below your armpit,

And the top of the head.

You can tap with two hands or one.

Just tap gently.

Alright so we will get started.

Just take a deep breath in,

In through your nose,

Side out.

Breathing in again one more time.

Letting it out.

Just continue to breathe naturally here,

Centering yourself and bringing your awareness to the present moment.

Acknowledge any feelings or resistance you may have about aging and slowing down.

Slowing down in general.

Remember to tap gently on each acupressure point and use two or three fingers,

Whatever is comfortable for you,

And repeat the affirmations after me.

Tapping on the side of the hand.

Even though I may feel anxious about aging and slowing down,

I deeply and completely accept myself.

Even though I sometimes struggle to be present and feel gratitude for where I am,

I choose to love and accept myself anyway.

Even though I may have fears and doubts about aging,

I choose to embrace this journey with love and compassion.

Tapping on the eyebrow point.

I acknowledge any fear or resistance that I have about aging.

Side of the eye.

It is okay to feel uncertain about the changes that come with aging.

Under the eye,

I accept these feelings with compassion and understanding.

Under the nose.

Even though aging can be challenging,

I choose to embrace it with grace.

Under the lip.

I am open to accepting myself exactly as I am in this moment.

Collarbone.

I choose to release any judgment or criticism that I have about aging.

Tapping under the arm.

I am worthy of love and acceptance at any age.

Top of the head.

I am open to seeing the beauty and the wisdom that come with aging.

Stop tapping for a few moments.

Take a deep breath and release any tension if you need to shake it out.

Get some wiggles out.

See how you're feeling around aging.

If anything comes up,

Any sensations in your body,

Any thoughts,

Anything,

Any resistance that you're feeling.

We'll start tapping again,

Embracing the present moment.

So we're tapping on the karate chop point,

Side of the hand.

Even though lately I feel like I rushed through life,

I deeply and completely love and accept myself.

Even though I struggle to slow down and be present.

I am open to choosing to cultivate mindfulness and gratitude.

Even though my mind may wander,

I choose to anchor myself in the present moment with love and kindness.

We'll go to the eyebrow.

I acknowledge the beauty of the present moment.

Side of the eye.

I choose to slow down and savor each experience.

Under the eye,

I am grateful for the simple joys of life.

Under the nose,

I release the need to constantly rush and achieve.

Under the lip,

I embrace the peace and stillness within me.

Collarbone.

I am fully present in my body and my mind.

There they are.

I choose to let go of worries about the future,

Just for now.

And on top of that,

I am grateful for the gift of life and all of its beautiful blessings.

Shake it out.

Stop tapping for a little bit.

Take a deep breath in.

Let it out.

See if anything is coming up now or if anything that came up earlier has subsided at all or what levels you're at with any sensations,

Any thoughts,

Any resistance.

And we'll work on cultivating gratitude in another round.

Tapping on the side of the hand.

Even though sometimes I forget to be grateful,

I am open to deeply and completely loving and accepting myself where I am.

Even though sometimes I take life for granted,

I choose to cultivate gratitude in every moment I can.

Even though life is not perfect,

There is so much to be grateful for.

And tapping again on the eyebrow,

Repeat after me.

I am grateful for the lessons that come with each passing day.

Side of the eye.

I appreciate the beauty of nature and the world around me.

Under the eye.

I am grateful for the love and support of those around me.

Under the nose.

I cherish moments of laughter and joy.

Under the lip.

I am grateful for the strength and resilience that is within me.

Collarbone.

I choose to change my focus and focus on abundance and blessings.

Under the arm.

I release any feelings of lack or scarcity.

Top of the head.

And I allow myself to be filled with gratitude for the gift of life and all of its wonders.

Stop tapping.

Take a deep breath.

Let it go.

Take a few moments here to reflect on how you feel after this tapping session.

Generally,

I notice within the hour that I'm feeling better.

Notice any shifts in your thoughts,

Your feelings,

Or physical sensations.

Remember that acceptance,

Presence,

And gratitude are ongoing practices.

It's something we have to work at.

It is a journey.

And it's okay to revisit this tapping when you need support or encouragement along your journey.

Take another deep breath.

Set it free.

Thank you for joining me.

Cheers!
