Today,

I share with you this body releasing ritual.

This is a practice where we invite our awareness to different parts of our body and as we touch our awareness in through these different places and spaces of our body,

We welcome in the most beautiful of mantra and affirmation as we give thanks and gratitude for all that our body does to take care to serve us.

As we begin this practice,

Find your most comfortable space.

It can be quite nice to lie down to the ground,

Maybe a little warmth over your body,

A quiet space that is yours and yours alone.

Once you have found your space of restfulness,

We begin and share our practice together.

Feeling the space where your feet make contact with the ground,

The heaviness of your feet resting down into the earth.

We share together this mantra.

I acknowledge all that you do to strive for independence,

To allow me to walk on this path of life and when my feet feel tired,

I offer them softness,

Stillness and deep,

Deep rest.

I allow the weight to drift from my body as light as a feather.

I'm guiding your awareness into the space of our hips.

As you take a breath in,

Soften down into the back of your body,

Release and let go of any holding.

Allowing a few soft breaths through your belly space as you soften into your hips.

And together we welcome in this beautiful mantra,

This affirmation together.

I recognize the deeply intertwined emotions and the complexities that sometimes even I don't understand that stay stored in my tissues.

I know my body serves to protect me and I grant them permission to rise to the surface.

And now we guide our awareness to the space of our arms from the shoulders to the fingertips.

Allow your arms to rest heavy,

Relax down into your back,

Take your breath slowly.

Let's welcome in this mantra together.

To the arms,

Thank you for being my caregiver.

Thank you for allowing me to hold together and to love.

I see at times that I give more than I receive and I acknowledge today in this moment I am so very deserving of receiving.

Into the soft space of your heart,

Welcome a few cycles of breath into the soft space of your heart.

And together we welcome in this mantra,

The fullness of heart.

To my heart,

You have the capability for so much fullness in my life.

When I soften into my heart,

Pure joy can exist.

But I also go slowly with a deeper,

More tender and raw emotions.

They too are my greatest teachers and will guide my journey.

And lastly,

To my mind,

The vastness of my mind,

Constantly allowing me to acquire newfound wisdom and store heartfelt memories.

I know that you are one of the most powerful tools inside of my body and I know how deserving you are of stillness.

I offer you clarity,

Spaciousness and pure rest.

So I now invite you to allow some space to be still as we release through our feet and legs,

Our hips,

Our arms,

Our heart,

Our mind,

Our whole body.

Take as much time as you feel needed.

Thank you for being here with me.

Thank you for your awareness and thank you for being present.

Namaste.
